We are happy to report that things have changed significantly with new Z97 ASRock boards. Not only do all but one contain a native M.2 Gen 2 x2 connector, but more importantly, the Extreme 6 contains what ASRock terms as an ‘Ultra M.2’ built on a PCIe Gen 3.0 4 lane base. This provides for up to a whopping 32GB/s transfer speed from a single M.2 SSD. Is that future proofing things or what?

ASUS 9-Series LGA1150 Motherboards Preview

A few weeks ago we were invited to come take a peak at what ASUS has been working on behind closed doors, and as you might expect, what we were shown was their new Intel 9-Series LGA1150 motherboards. We got a really in-depth look at the new lineup as a whole and each motherboard series individually, so we will be able to give you a nice breakdown of what each model has to offer and what new technology ASUS have developed for this new generation.

At launch, there will be about 15 different models based on the Z-class variant of the 9-series chipset. We haven't yet heard any word of their H-class models, but we expect roughly a half-dozen models with an emphasis on smaller form factors like Micro-ATX and Mini-ITX. If we are correct, that should make ASUS' next generation lineup much more customer friendly than the bewildering 37 models that GIGABYTE have recently announced. On the ASUS side, most of the new models are part of the standard Channel Series, but as you will see there are some very intriguing Republic of Gamers (RoG), The Ultimate Force (TuF), and Workstation models as well.

Corsair AX1500i Titanium Power Supply Review

So as 80plus certification board you just gotta figure, power supplies will not get any better then Platinum, right ? But yeah, we are talking about the technology sector, and the tech industry will always improve to remain competitive. So as an organization what do you do when hardware and technology advanced to even higher efficiency levels ? That's right, you grab the periodic table, close you eyes and boom ... you hit Titanium Not sorted by Atomic number at all. Ah well, perhaps after Titanium we will see a Chromium or oooh-ooh ... a Vanadium certification, hehe.

As such today we review the beast amongst the beasts of power supplies -- it is time my fellow gurus to review the Mighty Mo -- the Corsair Professional Series AX1500i PSU. The 1500W PSU is exorbitant performance, the one massive 125A 12-volts says it all really. Superb for multi-GPU solutions and hardcore enthusiasts that overclock their systems with liquid nitrogen, and then some. Corsair also embeds their LINK technology into the PSU. That means you can monitor the PSU with the help of software, things like PSU efficiency, power usage or simply to adjust the fan RPM. We'll show you that in the review though as the latest iteration of the software also allows you to configure some of the voltage rails.

Fractal Design Node 804 Case Review

I remember a time when cars did not have all the bells and whistles that they have now. Take for example dual climate control, that was something unheard of in the early 90s now almost all cars have a way to make the passenger side and drivers sides different temperatures. This is one of those simple features that is really awesome to me for the simple fact that I tend to run cold and my significant other is usually hot. In the larger vehicles even the back has its own climate control so the kids can be comfortable as well.

Chinese manufacturer Huawei is steadily growing its presence in the Western world, and the Ascend P7 is its latest attempt to win over consumers.Succeeding the Ascend P6, the P7 borrows the same stylings and functions, but provides a slightly better design and some increased power under the hood.While this is Hauwei's flagship device, it's not in the same league as the Samsung Galaxy S5, HTC One M8 or Sony Xperia Z2.In fact with a price tag of €449 (around £370, $625, AU$690), the Ascend P7 finds itself towards the top end of the middle tier of mobiles, but it's not a pricing anomaly like the OnePlus One.That said, a quick flick through the spec sheet and the Ascend P7 isn't exactly poorly equipped, with a lot of similar features to last year's HTC One.

Office Mix Preview

Microsoft this week launched a private preview program for Office Mix, which is currently available as an add-in for PowerPoint 2013 with SP1. Office Mix seems to be based in part on the PowerPoint Broadcast functionality that debuted in Office 2010, in that it publishes presentations to the public web. But it also lets you add audio, video and interactivity functionality, so that your presentations can become online lessons with elements like quizzes and exercises for the viewer.

SteelSeries Sensei Wireless Gaming Mouse Review

Back in 2011, SteelSeries unleashed the original Sensei gaming mouse which at the time was one of the most advanced gaming mice ever produced. Along with the now familiar Sensei gaming mouse design, SteelSeries also crammed some of the most advanced technology into the gaming mouse including an ARM processor, onboard memory, and a LCD display allowing full profile and setting adjustment without the need of additional software.

X2 Products Eclipse IV Heatsink Review
