For their first Socket A board it´s an incredible effort, with multiplier adjustment shooting Asus to the very top of the list for anyone looking for a motherboard for their Duron or Thunderbird CPU´s. Add in the ultra-reliable, ultra-quick Promise UDMA-100 controller, a thermal probe, a possible 7 USB ports, with top drawer performance and we´re looking at a winning board. I have no hesitation in strongly recommending the Asus A7V (with multiplier adjustment switches) to anyone looking for a socket A motherboard.
