HardOCP has posted a review on the Asus A7V266-E KT266A based motherboard.
We have talked a lot about the KT266A being a drop in replacement for the KT266 Chipset. Never has that been more apparent than with the A7V266-E and it's predecessor the A7V266. The boards are identical except for the fact the northbridge of the newer A7V266-E has active cooling. Other than that, they are twins. When we first looked over the A7V266 earlier this year, overall we were pleased with the board, layout and performance. Over time I have found a few minor inconveniences with the layout / design of the original A7V266 that have carried over into the new A7V266A which we will discuss later in the review.Read more
