X-bit labs send words that the ASUS CUV4X-D Dual-Socket370 mainboard is now available.
One more interesting mainboard appeared in shops. This is a new dual-processor mainboard from ASUS ASUS CUV4X-D built on VIA Apollo Pro133A. As you know this mainboard is a light version of another product from ASUS CUV4X-DLS. The difference between the two boards makes only the absence of the integrated Ultra160 SCSI and Ethernet controllers by CUV4X-D. All other specifications are just the same as those of the full version: Dual Socket370, ATX form-factor, AGP Pro slot, 5 PCI and 4 DIMM slots. We were very pleased to find out that ASUS provided even this serious product with some cool overclocking features. If you are an overclocking fan, you will be able to change the FSB frequency in the interval from 66 to 150MHz.Read more
