A1 Electronics has posted a review on the Athlon 64 x2 & Opteron dual-core processor

We review the eagerly awaited AMD dual-core K8 Athlon 64 processor architecture.

K8 Athlon 64 was designed from the beginning to support multi-core processor chips with their on-die bridge but AMD had not been able to introduce these until manufacturing was able to make processors small enough and reliably.
