DeviantPC has posted a review on the ATI Radeon 8500.
The Radeon 8500 is a dual head card, this means it supports another device as an extra output in windows. Good implementation of this feature by using two DACs (Digital to Analogue Converter) means two different refreshes can be supported like 50hz for a PAL television and 85Hz for your monitor. On top of all of this one of those two outputs can be duplicated to the other output. This great flexibility is a very nice feature, especially since this card will not work with an extra PCI card if you do require an extra monitor.Read more
