VR-Zone Hardware has posted a review of the retail ATI Radeon X800 Pro graphics card
Overclocking is usually the most interesting part of a graphics card review. With the X800 Pro, overclocking expectations really were up in the air. Although the card is made on a new 130 nanometer die process, the heatsink used on the card cools much like its Radeon 9800XT counterpart. All this coupled with the fact that there are no ramsinks on the card's memory may lead many to speculate that the X800 Pro has no overclocking potential, but that as we have tested today, is wrong. From a stock speed of 475/450Mhz (475 core / 450Mhz x 2), we were able to overclock the card to a core clock speed of 527Mhz and a Memory speed of 564Mhz, effectively giving us a 527Mhz core speed and 1128Mhz memory speed.Read more
