Computer Chaos has posted a review on the BackUp MyPC software package from Stomp Inc.
The backup and restore process went off without a hitch so now we are going to get brave and go through the Disaster Recovery Process. We are running Windows 2000 Professional in this test so unfortunatly we don't have the ability to test our Disaster Recovery set like you do if you were running Windows 9X/ME. You access the wizard by clicking on the Tools menu and chosing Recovery Wizard. After we started the Recovery Wizard we were prompted for the Windows 2000 Professional CD, up to 6 blank floppies ( da*m do we have any of these puppies around ) and the blank media we are using to create the Recovery set.Read more
