The Bay Cooler 2 comes equipped with 3 tiny 40mm fans. Together they push 15.57 CFM towards your hard drive (5.19 CFM per fan). They also only put out a quiet 25dba, which is nice to hear. The unit itself is made out of durable aluminum, and is very sturdy. The Bay Cooler 2 also comes with a LED for HDD activity. This is a pointless feature considering almost all, if not all cases come with this LED already and from the hard drives that I have, none have a LED socket. I really can’t see why the LED is necessary. The unit itself comes with the fans screwed on and no need for any setup (other then your hard drive that has to be mounted on the unit, obviously). The HDD cooler comes with a filter to prevent dust and little creepy crawlers from entering your computer and calling it home.
