Benq, formerly known as Acer Communications and Multimedia, produces respectable products at decent prices. Today, I will be reviewing the Benq 24x10x40 CDRW drive. It is priced competitively against more established nameplates such as Mitsubishi, LG and ASUS. The drive is well priced and aesthetically boring. The front panel is beige, with a play/skip button, an open/close button, a writing LED, a disc in LED and the standard 3.5mm audio jack and volume control. At the rear of the drive, it comes with the standard IDE connector and digital and analog audio connectors.Read more
