On top of AMDs current stack of Zen 3 processors, AMD CEO Lisa Su confirmed during CES 2022 that AMDs next Zen 3 desktop CPU, the V-cached equipped Ryzen 7 5800X3D, will launch this spring. So with a new chip to come and AMDs existing Zen 3-based offerings remaining highly competitive today, there remains a sizable market for AM4+ motherboards.
