We have taken a look at many Mini-ITX Z370 motherboards, but today we will take a look at one of the few micro-ATX Z370 motherboards to land in our lab. August Smart Keypad Review

In October of 2017 we reviewed the August Smart Lock with HomeKit. Overall I was very happy with the operation of the lock and that it, unlike many other smart locks, kept its presence under wraps to people outside your home since it only replaces the inside portion of the lock. Well recently I came across the August Smart Keypad and thought I would give it a try even though it sells you out to passers-by. So let’s see if this device is worthy of your consideration.

Cooler Master MASTERAIR MA410P CPU Cooler Review

Since we have a pretty good idea of how it should perform, with the new fan being the only question mark in the equation, we do not expect to be completely surprised with what we find in testing. However, many love the RGB LED option, and with that being said where the older version had nothing to give in this aspect, now your CPU cooler from Cooler Master can work with any motherboard software and deliver the same effects as the motherboard, solidifying the theme. Not only that but for those without capable motherboards, Cooler Master has included a set of inline switches which will allow the user to select colors and modes for the fan to present while in use. Cooler Master's refresh of the design is now called the Masterair MA410P. The naming is pretty simple to follow, as the Ma signifies the Masterair series, the four denotes the number of heat pipes, and the P at the end is something Cooler Master is doing with all of their products these days.

Creative Chrono Portable Splash-proof Bluetooth Speaker and FM Radio Clock Review

Chrono is a very affordable portable speaker from Creative which provides good audio quality and can be pretty loud, judging by its small footprint. We did really enjoy its vintage LED alarm clock appearance, the multitude of inputs it does support (Bluetooth, analog, microSDHC), but also comes with a FM module. The frontal display comes with large LED segments and its brightness can be adjusted on multiple levels. At medium sound level, from our tests, the speaker has lasted about seven hours, after which it did need a full recharge.

Creative Pebble review: Impressively big sound from teeny, $25 speakers

Creative says its Pebble speaker set was inspired by a Zen Japanese rock garden. This USB-powered 2.0 system has a simple, sparse design with a subtle aesthetic appeal. Still, I wondered how much audio enhancement they could bring to a PC for a measly $25 (on Amazon). Turns out, quite a bit, even compared to pricier budget PC speakers we've tested.

Crucial MX500 1TB SSD Review

It’s not that long ago that I first tested the all new Crucial MX300 750GB SSD, and back then this was the first drive to feature the new 3D TLC NAND that micron had to offer. Now Micron has a new SSD and it’s not called MX400 as the previous naming scheme would have suggested, but it’s the MX500, and as we can expect it’s an update to the MX300 featuring the 2nd generation of #D TLC NAND, from Micron.

Intel's Spectre fix is now good to go for Broadwell and Haswell processors

Roll-out follows the deployment of working patches for Skylake and newer CPUs last week. Last week, Intel released overhauled Spectre fixes for all its newest CPUs – from Skylake onwards – and now the firm has pushed out fresh patches for many Broadwell and Haswell processors too (5th- and 4th-gen models).

These are working Spectre patches that don’t cause the instability problems which the previous fixes did, which led to Intel recommending that folks don’t install them.

Logitech Z150 Stereo Speakers review: Light on your budget, light on the bass

MSI Vigor GK80 Review

Cherry MX meets Mystic Light. Any PC gaming manufacturer worth its salt understands the need to play in the peripheral market. These are the devices that consumers interact with on a regular basis, and heck, if you already offer motherboards and graphics cards, it makes perfect sense to extend your design language to keyboards and mice.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 Ti Shoot-Out: ASUS Strix And Zotac AMP Extreme

t is very likely that NVIDIA’s GeForce GTX 1070 Ti will be the final Pascal-based desktop GPU to arrive for gamers, before next-generation architectures hit the scene in the not too distant future. As most of you probably know, the GeForce GTX 1070 Ti targets enthusiasts and hardcore gamers and is positioned in the narrow gap between the GTX 1070 and GTX 1080. We took an extended look at NVIDIA’s Founders Edition card in our launch coverage. But here we’re turning our gaze toward a couple custom variants from Zotac and ASUS.

In this piece we're pitting the Zotac GeForce GTX 1070 Ti AMP Extreme Edition against the ASUS ROG Strix GTX 1070 Ti. Each card features the same GPU with 2,432 CUDA cores with a Boost Clock of 1683MHz and a Base Clock of 1607MHz, though higher clocks are offered via software tweaks as we'll show you later. The customary 8GB of GDDR5 memory, clocked at 8GHz, is also found on each offering.

NZXT H700i Mid-Tower ATX Case Review

NZXT has brought a few new features to the table with their H-series computer cases. At the time of this review, there are three variants: the H700i (standard mid-tower ATX), H400i (micro-ATX), and H200i (mini-ITX). Aside from having tempered glass panels, a solid steel frame, and a sleek minimalistic look, each case features a CAM Powered Smart Device. The Smart Device optimizes fan noise and temperature through Adaptive Noise Reduction, meaning it will measure the noise level in the case to find the best optimal temperature for the system. Patriot Viper LED DDR4-3000 16GB Memory Kit Review

Patriot has recently released their latest memory series, the brand new Viper LED. As you can guess by the name these modules will feature LED lighting. While not RGB you have the option to choose from Red or White illumination. The modules have a new heatspreader design, which I have to say is one of the best we’ve seen from Patriot.
