techPowerUp: Montech Flyer Review

The Montech Flyer mATX chassis clocks in at around an affordable $50, but offers two fans, RGB with built-in control, AIO liquid cooling capabilities, and a shiny and clean paint job. Could this be the perfect starter chassis or does the low price mean corners were cut?

KitGuru: Box Cube Dragon Army One Gaming PC Review (3800X, 2080 Super)

Rating: 8.0. If you’re a huge fan of MSI then Box certainly has a PC just for you. The One is a prebuilt PC that sits within the Dragon Army line up of systems and includes parts from Corsair, Intel and Nvidia with the main focus being on MSI. The MSI Gungnir case has a giant red dragon on the front and the theme continues inside with the MSI RTX 2080 Super and MSI MEG X570 ACE Motherboard – all finished off with braided black and red cables. With all the various Corsair RGB lighting set to red it certainly looks the part, but how well does it perform and is it worth the £2,289.99 asking price?

The Guru of 3D: GALAX GeForce RTX 2070 Super WTF review

We review the new GALAX GeForce RTX 2070 Super in the WTF edition, and yes that is a playful way of wording in many regards. WTF is short for Work The Frames, which realistically you would have never guessed. This RTX 2070 is based on the new Super series, as in super-charged based on a Turing TU104 chip.

LanOC Reviews: XFX RX 5700 XT Thicc III Ultra

Not long ago I took a look at the XFX RX 5700 XT Thicc II and while there were some aspects of the card that I liked, like the styling. I wasn’t impressed with its cooling performance and the price point that they had it listed. It was being sold as a flagship card but didn’t have flagship performance. Well XFX reached out and let me know that the price on the Thicc II was dropping and they had a new three fan design that would be coming, the Thicc III Ultra. Because I’ve seen a lot of people who think that the II and III in the names is the revision number, no it represents how many fans the card has. Anyhow I went through and retested all of our RX 5700 XT’s including the Thicc II Ultra and then tested the new Thicc II Ultra as well and today I’m going to check out the new card and see how it performed in our test suite. Is the new model enough to justify a flagship price? We will have to find out!

Think Computers: CORSAIR VIRTUOSO RGB Wireless SE Headset Review

Tagged as a "high-fidelity" gaming headset by CORSAIR, the VIRTUOSO RGB Wireless SE offers a new look at a product sector that is full of obnoxious looking, poor sounding products. The elegant design of the VIRTUOSO Wireless SE steers away from the gamer look of their popular VOID line, and adds a few upgrades not found in the HS series. With a pair of 50mm neodymium drivers, aluminum construction, memory foam earpads, and multiple connectivity options, the VIRTUOSO RGB Wireless SE is geared to impress.

Anandtech: The Google Pixel 4 XL Review: Stuck In The Past In 2019

The new Pixel 4 is again a camera centric phone – it’s the topic that Google talked about the most and dedicated the most time to during its launch event in New York. The Pixel 4 adds for the first time a second camera module that acts as a telephoto unit, and also promises to have improved the capture quality on the new main camera. Whilst Google has a reputation for having good cameras, the Pixel 4 this year faces incredible competition as essentially every other vendor this year has launched devices with triple cameras and have stepped up in terms of their computational photography capabilities.

eTeknix: AORUS TRX40 Master Gaming Motherboard Preview

The new AMD Threadripper CPUs are here at last, or at least, they’re released. We don’t actually have one of the new CPUs in the office just yet. However, we do have two amazing new motherboards from AORUS. First up, it’s the AORUS TRX40 Master, which is designed for the enthusiast PC user, which explains why it comes absolutely packed with amazing features. While they say “gaming motherboard” I honestly think that’s just a moniker given to many things these days because it has RGB. However, with Threadripper proving a big hit with content creators for YouTube and Twitch, and other similar platforms, perhaps Gigabyte AORUS is a better judge of the market than I am.

Anandtech: Best SSDs: Holiday 2019

SSD prices have started to creep up a bit in some corners of the market, but the upcoming holiday sales should reverse that and bring new price per GB records. The industry is still slowly migrating from 64-layer to 96-layer 3D NAND, but that doesnt have much impact on end-user price, performance or endurance. At the very high end, PCIe 4.0 SSDs have arrived but are still far more expensive than PCIe 3.0-based high-end drives, without offering much in the way of real-world performance improvements. The sweet spot for pricing is usually with 1TB models, but anything from 480GB up to 2TB can come close on a $/GB basis. There are now several 4TB consumer SSDs to choose from, but theyre all more than twice the price of their 2TB counterparts.

OCC: Gato Roboto Review

As many of us know quite well, there is only so much time in a day, which means that occasionally we need to prioritize one project over another. This is what happened when I received the key for Gato Roboto, and while it may have slipped into my backlog, I did not forget about it. Things are finally calm enough now to afford me the time to work on this review of a game that has you play as a cat in a mech suit. You will be battling various enemies from powerful robots to frogs, all to discover what happened on the research planet you crashed on.
