The Guru of 3D takes a look at the performance of Call Of Duty Black Ops II on 21 graphics cards

It is that time of the year again in Q4, typically either October or November historically is the timeframe when a Call Of Duty game is released, this year Black Ops II.

The Call Of Duty series has been around for so many years now and the reason for that is simple, it is a successful and appealing gaming franchise. Each year we however we complain about that never updated graphics engine, because as PC users .. we want the best eye-candy availble.

This year however the game changes literally as Call of Duty: Black Ops II will get a number of visual enhancements over previous games in the franchise. HDR lighting, bounce lighting and self-shadowing. There's also a new texture technique called Reveal Mapping, which is claimed to offer big improvements in texture detail.
