ViaHardware has posted their second Comdex coverage, this time covering Motherboards at Comdex.
The big buzz with all the motherboard manufactures in attendance were their DDR motherboards. VIA has introduced their Apollo Pro 266 chipset for the Intel Pentium 3/Celeron and VIA Cyrix III processors. This chipset gives support for Doubled Dated Rate (DDR) memory and should help extend the life of current socket 370 processors.Read more
