Thanks to newer and better sound cards and integrated chipsets, sound on the PC is finally getting the airplay it deserves. In order to take full advantage of its capabilities, Logitech, Creative Labs, and Altec Lansing are offering powerful 5.1 and 6.1 speakers that deserve more than a cursory listen.
