TheTechLounge takes a look at the Cooler Master Cavalier 3 Mid-Tower Case
Cooler Master’s cases have quite a reputation for being visually pleasing. Ever since their ATC line of cases, Cooler Master has been one of the better high-end case manufacturers. While Cooler Master is well known for their higher-end cases such as the Wave Master and Praetorian, they also have a few lower-end cases such as the Cavalier, Centurion and CM Stacker. Cooler Master’s aim seems to be providing the best possible aesthetics and functionality without jacking up the price. The higher-end cases are constructed out of aluminum and have features such as a removable motherboard tray while the lower-end cases are built out of steel and focus on more budget-friendly features.
Today I will be looking at the Cooler Master Cavalier 3 mid-tower case. Coming in at just under $100, the Cavalier features a steel chassis, aluminum front and many tool-less features to aid in the installation process. Because of Cooler Master’s history and the quality of their other cases, I already have fairly high expectations for the Cavalier 3. I will be paying close attention to the materials, construction, quality, usability and aesthetics of this case.
