ASUS Sabertooth 990FX R3.0 Review

The Sabertooth 990FX from ASUS is part of the manufacturer's Sabertooth-Series motherboards, which makes it feature a black PCB and the vendors TUF component set. Although the architecture is definitely not "fresh" anymore, ASUS decided to "refresh" their AMD series Sabertooth board, by adding features similar to those offered on their Intel motherboards. This board certainly offers more than just a pretty color scheme like for instance good versatility regarding storage and peripheral connectors like USB 3.1 and M.2 SSD.

Cooler Master MasterBox 5t Review

The MasterBox 5t is an attention getter - just walk by a row of cases at your local electronics store and you will definitely notice the red and black two-tone theme. It is not overwhelming, but you can't miss it. The red LED bar is another cool feature that makes the case stand out. Stick three 120mm red LED fans in the front and it becomes almost irresistable. And the red motherboard tray - just wow! OK, yes I am a big fan of the red and black theme. Can you guess what series of motherboards I use? If you guessed the familiar red and black ASUS ROG series, then you'd be correct. They would definitely look sweet in this case. Alright, enough on the red and black. Let's move on!

Cooler Master MasterCase Maker 5t Case Review

Casemodding is the process of modifying your computer case to suit your needs. Sometimes this is something simple like a color change or can be more involved to support things like a complex water loop or hardware the case was never designed to handle. Regardless of the process the defining factor is that something changed to “Make it Yours”. In the early days casemodding it was rather easy to spot because the mods required a fair amount of skill to complete. That isn't always the case these days.

With the rise of modular chassis designs the "modding" aspect of casemodding has become simpler allowing users to assemble creative system builds that would have been otherwise impossible to accomplish, at least by a novice user. It would seem this process is even possible at the factory level as is the situation with this new chassis from Cooler Master.

In this review I’ll be looking at the MasterCase Maker 5t from Cooler Master. The MasterCase Series launched in 2015 and has become a very popular platorm for casemodders given its Freeform Modular System and attention to watercooling. With the Maker 5t the bar has been raised with custom paint and a carry handle inspired by the Cooler Master Storm Trooper and Storm Stryker.

Corsairs Carbide Series Air 740 case reviewed

In a world where the compact ATX mid-tower is gaining traction, Corsair's Carbide Series Air 740 is an unapologetic bruiser of a case that promises all the room one could want for a jam-packed high-end system. We took it for a test drive to see whether bigger can still be better.

Linksys WRT3200ACM MU-MIMO Wireless Router Review

Linksys is a brand many of us know. My first wireless router was a Linksys and now that Linksys was switched their router design back to the older style taking a look at this router brings back a little nostalgia. Of course this router is nothing like the first Linksys router I owned, this is the new WRT3200ACM MU-MIMO Wireless Router. This new router in Linksys’ WRT family features Multi-User Multiple Input Multiple Output (MU-MIMO) data streaming and Tri-Stream 160 technology, that doubles the 80MHz channel width on the 5GHz band to achieve faster throughput speeds. This router also gives you four Gigabit Ethernet ports, a USB 3.0 port, and a very interesting combo USB / eSATA port. Can this router prove to be one to get this Holiday season?

Noctua NH-D15S versus NH-D15 CPU Cooler Review

Noctua This is a brand that you have likely heard of throughout the years, but if not, you really need to look into them more. Noctua is well known for their highly successful and high quality CPU coolers, cooling fans, and thermal pastes. It has been a while since we’ve looked at a product from Noctua, so today we’re going to take a look at a cooler that is nearly identical to one that we previously reviewed, but with a couple revisions. This particular cooler, the NH-D15S, was originally released on August 28, 2015, so it has been around for a while, but still performs like a king. Take a look!

Teamgroup T-Force Night Hawk 3000 MHz 16GB Dual Channel DDR4 memory review

We review a 16GB DIMM DDR4 memiry kit, the T-Force Night Hawk 3000 MHz CAS16 DDR4 memory from Teamgroup. It is high-frequency, it has animated LEDs and runs XMP 2.0 memory profiles on Intel platforms as well. Join us as we review some of the nicest looking DIMM bars of memory your money can get you.

DDR4 memory modules you can choose plenty from, the cheap but dull all green Kingston Value memory for example works absolutely fine. Then the regular mainstream DIMMs, then step it up a little and say high-frequency memory is a hint faster and often cooler looking inside your PC with the fancy designs and heatspreaders. Then there's enthusiast grade memory for the performance enthusiasts, which is what we will look at as Teamgroup has released T-Force Night Hawk memory. The DIMMs we received from them clock in at a 3000 MHz (effective), considering that a lot of you run your memory at 2133 MHz and for DDR3 actually 1600 MHz, that's nearly double the memory frequency. But how will that relate to performance?

Stylish RAM memory for the people that need fast performance, the people that build their own PCs, perhaps customize it a little. In that mindset Teamgroup released an updated SKU based on quality, performance and aesthetics as the T-Force Night Hawk have LEDs that animate.

The Oculus Touch Motion Controller Review

Oculus released the Rift VR HMD in March 2016 to mixed fanfare. Oculus built a refined piece of hardware, but the lack of hand controls hurt the Rift's appeal. It took Oculus many months to catch up, but it can finally offer hand presence with Touch.
