Anandtech: Akasa Turing Fanless Case Review: Unrivalled Noiseless NUC

Silent computing systems are preferable for a multitude of use-cases ranging from industrial applications (where dust and fans make for a troublesome configuration) to noiseless HTPCs (particularly for audiophiles). Akasa has been providing thermal solutions in multiple computing verticals for more than 20 years, with a particular focus on passive cooling. They have been targeting NUCs since the launch of the Ivy Bridge version in early 2013. The NUC solution was completely re-imagined with the launch of the Turing fanless case for the Bean Canyon NUCs.

Windows Central: Ghostrunner works well, but is held back by frustrating combat

Ghostrunner is a first-person platformer that shows a lot of promise, thanks to its excellent visuals, music, and parkour platforming. Unfortunately, the game stumbles thanks to its repetitive levels and clunky combat.

Wccftech: Pokémon Sword & Shield: The Crown Tundra Review - A Big Improvement

Pokémon Sword and Shield: The Crown Tundra is the better of the two DLCs. It weaves Pokémon's modern sensibilities with strong nostalgia for old-time fans.

APH Networks: Gigabyte P550B 550W Report

In automotive industry, it is quite common to see one manufacturer with two or more brands. Each of the brand has its own targeted customers. For example, Toyota had three branches: Toyota itself as well as Lexus and Scion. Lexus is Toyota's luxury brand. If you are looking to show you have somehow made it with your life and at the same time you want something reliable, Lexus is your choice. As for younger generations, cars from the Scion branch is more attractive, or at least that is what Toyota believed. That is, of course, no one else thought so, and they shut down the brand in 2016. Not only Toyota, Honda and Nissan do the same thing too. Nissan has Infiniti, but interestingly, Nissan's famous supercar, the GT-R, is still under Nissan brand. As for Honda, there is Acura. I personally own a Honda and an Acura. My impression is that, Honda is good enough to serve as a fun daily driver, and Acura is basically a Honda with better features. For example, Acura has stuff like better leather, higher performance, and improved sound system. The same thing goes for computer power supplies. The same company can make both fancy ones as well as budget ones. The design goal of budget PSUs is to make acceptable performance products at a low cost. It is actually pretty challenging to design a budget PSU right. This is because it takes effort to really find the balance between low-cost and good performance. As for today's review unit, the Gigabyte P550B 550W PSU, it is a budget PSU, and it is non-modular. What was sacrificed to reduce the cost? This review is here to find out!

The thing that makes the Gold P31 interesting is that every part of the drive is made by SK hynix, the controller, DRAM, flash, and even the firmware. This means they have full control over everything, which is something you really don't see these days.
