Hardware Canucks posted a review of the new Corsair Carbide 200R case
From the Carbide to Obsidian series, Corsair has a wide variety of cases in their stable, but one option was conspicuous by its absence: a truly budget-friendly solution that will appeal to entry level gamers. The new Carbide 200R has now been introduced to fill this perceived gap below Corsair's 300R and 500RCorsair Carbide 200R Case Review
At just $60, the 200R may be inexpensive and uses an exterior design which incorporates a whole lot of plastic but its feature set and internal space are nonetheless impressive. There are also multiple 120mm / 140mm fan mounts –two of which are populated with 120mm fans-, plenty of options for hardware configurations, front USB 3.0 ports and SSD drive mounts. This Carbide also incorporates a fully tool less design, sleeved front panel wires and a mass of hard drive / SSD mounting options, all of which are rarities for budget enclosures. Unfortunately, water cooling options are limited but that’s to be expected when taking into consideration the 200R’s bargain basement price tag.
