Microsoft has prepped a place on its BetaPlace beta-download site for the first official "Yukon" SQL Server beta bits. An update sent to testers recently says Beta 1 is on track for July. Beta 1 is expected to be relatively small and open only to pre-selected partners and customers. Microsoft says the final Yukon release will ship before the end of calendar 2004.
