Crucial MX300 1TB SSD Review
Three months ago Crucial announced the MX300 750GB âLimited Editionâ SSD to celebrate their brand new Micron 3D TLC NAND Flash memory technology. We reviewed the MX300 750GB drive and found that the Micron 3D TLC NAND along with the Marvell 88SS1074 controller and Crucial custom firmware proved to be a winning combination. Crucial has since released 275GB, 525GB, and 1050GB (1TB) and 2TB versions to join the existing MX300 750GB model, so there are now five different capacities to pick from if you want a Crucial MX300 series SSD in the 2.5-inch SATA III form factor. The unusual capacities are due to the Micronâs 3D TLC being 384Gbit when most other NAND companies are using 256Gbit technology. Read on to see how the MX300 1TB SSD performs!Read full article @ Legit Reviews

iiyama ProLite GE2788HS-B2 Review
FreeSync support on a 27in panel at £170. The quality of any hardware is directly related to price. Take monitors for example. Those wanting super-high-refresh screens with ultra resolutions and some form of adaptive pacing technology have to pay a healthy premium. It's inevitable there's a paucity of impressive screens for the entry-level market, but that doesn't mean that significant value can't still be had.Read full article @ Hexus
Dubbed the Black Hawk, long-standing monitor firm iiyama has gaming-optimised screens that don't break the bank. The GE2788HS is a case in point, touting a 27in form factor, TN panel, 75Hz refresh rate and a quoted 1ms response time via overdrive. Keeping costs in check is a full-HD screen (1,920x1,080), rather than a lusher resolution, and you get all this from around £160.
Interestingly, our sample came with an AMD FreeSync sticker and logo attached to the box and panel. There are in fact two models of the GE2788HS screen, designated as -B1 and -B2, with the latter having limited FreeSync support baked in. AMD would like you to think there's no extra cost involved for the adaptive-framerate technology, though retailers are charging an extra tenner for the review -B2.

This X99 motherboard can house The Intel Core i7-5960X and other Haswell-E chips as well as the new Broadwell-E processors. Both are based on socket LGA2011-V3 infrastructure with DDR4 quad channel memory. DDR4 memory allows for lower voltage memory modules, this memory defaults towards 2133 MHz at 1.2 Volts. However the memory controller is quad-channel compatible. As a result with overclocked memory at roughly 3 GHz, you can reach 70 maybe 80 GB/sec on your memory bandwidth, which are insane numbers. In this article we'll have a chat about a X99 motherboard in terms of the chipset and then will throw a decent photo-shoot and a benchmark suite at the products and get an indication what performance is like with the new 10-core Intel Core i7-6950 and X99 Platform.
Roth Audio Sub Zero III Review
We've said it before and we'll say it again, a soundbar is the single easiest way of improving your TV's sound, and with the soundbar format now being embraced by everyone in the industry there's a huge amount of choice available to consumers. Of course, as with anything audio-related, you can spend upwards of thousands on a soundbar such as Samsung's phenomenal HW-K950, but at the more budget end of the market you also have the likes of Roth Audio providing surprisingly capable soundbars that won't break the bank. The Roth Audio Sub Zero III doesn't offer the most refined sound out of any soundbar we've ever listened to, but what it does offer is a solid upgrade to your TV's sound that manages to bring a health boost to bass levels whilst preserving the detail in the sound.Read full article @ TechRadar
