Overclockers Workbench has posted a review on the Cyrix III 533.

The Cyrix III seems to be penerating the market in small amount these days. The Cyrix III 533Mhz is so cheap that we decided to get one to test it out.

If you have not heard of IDT, now you will. Cyrix III is based on a modified IDT C6 core, thus it is different from it´s previous versions. Cyrix III (codename Samuel) has abadoned its PR ratings adopted a few years back to indicate the speed of processors. Instead it is indicated by it´s frequency. Currently there are two versions of the CPU, a 500Mhz (100x5) and a 533Mhz (133x4). Core voltage is being set at 1.8v, and it runs a full-speed 128KB LI cache. Other than the higher FSB (instead of 66 of Celerons), it supports 3DNow! and MMX, it also uses the Socket 370 architecture. It is apparent that it can be used on existing mainboards that supports the Pentium III / Celeron.
