Galaxis Atlus Mid Tower Chassis Review
TweakTown posted a review on the Galaxis Atlus Mid Tower Chassis

I know when we took a look at the ARES from Galaxis a lot of the finer details such as pricing and availability were sketchy at best. Today I have more information about the chassis in the Galaxis lineup, and I am pleased to bring you yet another mid tower chassis from Galaxis. Looking at the ARES, I saw some things that were right as rain for the design, but I also found a couple of finer points that make the case a little tough to use, depending on hardware. But all in all, it was still a decent case for the price.

Today we are taking a close look at the Atlus from Galaxis. Now, this is sort of the "little brother" to the ARES, but don't let that fool you. I based that comment on pricing alone. While the ARES has its own look, the Atlus provides a less flashy exterior, but keeps most components of the ARES; just this time, ever so slightly different.

DreamWare Computers posted a review on the Silverstone Strider Plus Gold 750W PSU

The last half of 2010 saw a lot more power supply manufacturers pushing 80PLUS Silver rated power supplies onto the market with more and more affordable price tags to accompany them. Time to put the 750W Strider Plus Gold up against my well loved 750W Strider Plus, and see just what the extra money will get you!

OCZ Platinum XTE 4GB DDR3-2000 Review
PureOverclock has published a review on the OCZ Platinum XTE 4GB DDR3-2000 memory modules.

OCZ is typically known for producing rock solid memory kits at very attractive prices. And while we can understand the rationale behind OCZ's decision to leave the memory market in the near future, we'll be sorry to see them go. So there's a good chance these OCZ Platinum 4GB XTE DDR3-2000 modules might be one of the last of their kind in a long line of successful sticks from OCZ.

ASUS P8P67 Deluxe (Intel P67 Express) Motherboard Review
TweakTown posted a review on the ASUS P8P67 Deluxe (Intel P67 Express) Motherboard

One thing about the Sandy Bridge launch that has been different about any other CPU launch that I have covered has been how many motherboards were launched at the same time. I was shocked at the number that came in even before the CPUs arrived. Still, it is a good thing in most respects as it gives you plenty of choices unlike a few other CPU launches that I can think of."

For our third P67 board review we stay inside the ASUS camp, but move a little down the ladder firmly into the upper end of the consumer market. Here we find the P8P67 Deluxe. This board comes complete with Digi+ VRM, EPU and the TPU for what ASUS calls this Dual Intelligent Processors with DIGI+ VRM. But that is not all you get with this new board from ASUS. You get a front panel USB 3.0 box, SLI and Crossfire, Dual GBe LAN (one of these is an Intel LAN chip), and a built in Bluetooth module. Not to mention the performance and overclocking that comes with most ASUS motherboards.

Smartfish Whirl Mini Laser Mouse w/ Anti-Gravity Comfort Pivot Review
TestFreaks posted a review on the Smartfish Whirl Mini Laser Mouse w/ Anti-Gravity Comfort Pivot

The mouse is probably the most important device when it comes to computers, well maybe tied with the keyboard. When it comes to mice you’ve got plenty of options, and not all are created equal that’s for sure. The mouse hasn’t changed much really, but some companies try and redesign them like Smartfish. Today for review I’ve got the Smartfish Whirl Mini Laser Mouse that is unlike any other mouse out there. The Whirl features a laser sensor so it tracks very well on most any surface. What makes the Whirl different is the design of it. The Whirl features what Smartfish calls ErgoMotion, the me use sits up on sort of a pedestal and the mouse itself pivots all different ways supposedly making it more comfortable and ergonomic. It’s certainly a unique mousing experience.

The EVGA Geforce GTX 560Ti SuperClocked Edition looks to fill that new upgrade spot. The GTX 560Ti SC is positioned to fill that middle performance spot that was once held by the popular GTX 460. The technology in the 560Ti adds more on top of the old 460 in terms of processing power. There are 384 CUDA cores, 8 streaming multiprocessors, 64 texture units, and 32 ROP units. The most underrated component in any gaming configuration has to be the beloved mouse pad. Some would even claim its presence isn't a necessity. Corsair SP2500 2.1 Speaker Review - Corsair enters another market
PC Perspective posted a review on the Corsair SP2500 2.1 Speaker

Corsair is a name well known in the industry for making high quality memory aimed at enthusiasts and high end applications. For the past few years they have expanded into other areas including cases, power supplies, and CPU coolers. The latest push is for computer audio, and the SP2500 is a hefty shot across the bow for the current competition.

This is something of a niche system. Most users will balk at paying $250 for a set of 2.1 speakers. Then again, there are those who do take audio much more seriously than others. While $250 is a lot of money, I feel that Corsair delivers a product worth every cent. I have been following computer audio since the days of those tiny, tinny 2.0 speakers that were battery powered. The jump to the Altec Lansing ACS-31s was massive from those terrible speakers. Now as we enter 2011, I can honestly say that these are the most accurate, well rounded, and best engineered desktop speakers that I have yet heard.

Quick Review: Patriot Viper Xtreme Division 2 PC3-15000 8GB Kit
TweakTown posted a review on the Patriot Viper Xtreme Division 2 PC3-15000 8GB Kit

This time it's Patriots turn to get in the lime light with the Viper Extreme Series Division 2 kit. Yes, it's got quite the name. First up, we've got the package which while being nicely designed, doesn't contain much more than the two modules which comes as no surprise.

What we're dealing with today is an 8GB kit which consists of two 4GB modules that come in at PC3-15000 or 1866MHz DDR. The timings come in a little more relaxed at 9-11-9-27-1T @ 1.65v, not bad timings, but a little looser than the last kit we looked at which was higher clocked. The reason for this, though, is because we're dealing with higher density 4GB modules instead of 2GB ones.

Palm Pre 2 Review
Business Computing World published a review of the Palm Pre 2

We have a huge soft spot for the Palm Pre 2. Web OS is intuitive to use and great for those who find the overabundance of home screens and links on many smartphones get in the way of effective use. The small size is also appealing, though there are trade-offs as far as screen and keyboard size are concerned. The latter in particular may be an issue if you have large hands. Business users may like the way the Palm Pre 2 handles LinkedIn too. But the iffy battery life could be an issue.[/quote6

ASUS GeForce GTX 580 Direct CU II Review
techPowerUp posted a review on the ASUS GeForce GTX 580 Direct CU II

ASUS' new GeForce GTX 580 DC2 uses a massive triple slot Direct CU II heatsink that increases cooling performance significantly. As a result the card is extremely quiet in both idle and load - quieter than many midrange cards. ASUS has also increased the operating clocks of their design, all this for a small price increase of $5.
