ASUS U6V Bamboo Notebook Review
t-break posted a review on the ASUS U6V Bamboo Notebook

The notebook itself is small in size and beautiful to look at. The entire top lid is covered with a bamboo layer that not only looks good but feels quite nice as well. It has definitely made heads turn. The bamboo finish continues on the palmrest including the trackpad and this makes the feel of the trackpad with the wooden texture incredible to glide your finger upon. It beats the Glassy trackpad on the Unibody designed Macbooks which I felt were the best I had used.

Noctua NH-U12P SE1366 CPU cooler review
Elite Bastards posted Noctua NH-U12P SE1366 CPU cooler review

Depending on which NH-U12P cooler you pick up dictates its compatibility - The standard cooler is suitable for both AMD and Intel systems, from the latter's LGA 775 socket to the formers Socket AM2 and AM2+, while the NH-U12P SE1366 only ships with support for Intel's new Core i7, Socket LGA 1366 CPUs. The actual body of the cooler itself is a pretty hefty beast, weighing in at 600 grams, which supports the installation of either one or two 120mm fans, with the SE1366 edition of the cooler shipping with a pair of fans by default compared to a single fan on the standard bundle. These bundled fans take the form of Noctua's own most excellent NF-P12 part, complete with its Ultra Low Noise Adapter to drop the fan's rotational speed to 900 RPM from its default 1300 RPM if you're looking to make your cooling solution as quiet as possible.

Silverstone Fortress FT01B-W Review
Bjorn3D takes a look at the Silverstone Fortress FT01B-W.

As far as cases are concerned in the computer hardware industry, everyone has their own taste. Some people like huge cases and others like the ones that they can hide very easily. A lot of times people will say, 'I like that case because it looks cool', but then they get home and it's a nightmare to install their components.

Silverstone is a great leader in the computer chassis market and they have a very nice looking product that's very sleek and easy on the eyes. The Silverstone Fortress FT01B-W is a mid tower case that offers the functionality of a full tower, yet the quietness of a MiniATX case. Let's dig in and see what this case is all about.

Glidecam HD-1000 Review
PCShopTalk posted a review on the Glidecam HD-1000

When it comes to making movies, no one likes shaky footage. Unsteady footage is one of the biggest hallmarks of an amateur movie, unless it is done purposefully and properly. Shaky footage will make movies look as though they were filmed by a five year old, while smooth footage will give a production a more professional look. Millions of people across the world are struck with the wish to make short movies, capture warm memories of family on film, catch inspiring views of exotic places, and much more. This is where the Glidecam HD-1000 comes in. The Glidecam HD-1000 is a lightweight hand-held camera stabilizer that allows filmmakers to transform a jumpy, amateur video into a hypnotically smooth flying motion. The Glidecam HD-1000 will not only help in everyday filming, but it will also lend a more professional look that will impress viewers.

Akasa's Infiniti ZOR chassis
bit-tech published a review of Akasa's Infiniti ZOR chassis

Overall we’ve been far from impressed with the Infiniti ZOR throughout our time with the case. While there isn’t too much wrong externally as long as the simple styling suits your tastes, the internals are a catalogue of compromises. The removable motherboard that isn’t, the woeful lack of cable routing, plenty of sharp edges and fan cables that just aren’t long enough are all frustrating problems. And while we really like the extremely flexible drive bay mounting and front panel along with the wealth of space inside, the flaws still rankle.

The biggest concern here though is the thermal performance and especially the GPU cooling. While we might have criticised previous gamer cases for their design, styling or lack of high end features, they generally tend to get the cooling bit right, but here it’s a real disappointment. This makes the ZOR very unattractive if you plan on fitting more demanding graphics solutions, although we don't expect many will use more than a single GPU in such a case.

With that in mind, it’s hard to recommend the Infiniti ZOR. While the price is attractive in comparison to the competition, this gamer case carries too many compromises and issues to really be worth considering.

Antec 900 V2 Review
XSReviews has reviewed the Antec 900 V2

The Antec 900 was one of the most popular gaming cases released in the past few years. It was good looking, had great cooling and some interesting features, and was even followed up by a little brother version, the Antec 300. Now though, Antec felt that it was time for a refresh, meet the Antec 900 v2. It's got whopping cooling options, along with a nice side window, dust filters have been added and it still looks damn sexy. Let's see how it holds up in our testing.

Creative Vado HD Video Camera Reviewed
ITreviewed posted a review on the Creative Vado HD Video Camera

Creative designed the Vado HD so you can easily shoot all of life's spontaneous moments, and then come home and watch your videos on an HDTV - all with high-definition quality. You can upload the videos to your PC, or what's really cool is to watch them on your HDTV in almost-full HD quality. Some cameras, such as Pure Digital's Flip Mino HD, record HD video but don't let you output it in high definition to your HDTV. While Creative has got the convenience part right, video quality is disappointing. Despite the new lens, footage isn't as sharp as expected and colours are heavily over-saturated. Highlights also tend to bleach out, and we even noticed dropped frames. If it produced outstanding video quality you could excuse the hefty price tag. It doesn't, and there are better value products out there, such as Kodak's Zi6 (Best Current Price: 103)

Zotac GeForce GTX 295 1792 MB Review
techPowerUp posted a review on the Zotac GeForce GTX 295 1792 MB

Zotac's GeForce GTX 295 comes with two NVIDIA GT200b GPUs sandwiched together in one graphics card. The card can successfully defeat ATI's HD 4870 X2 in our benchmarks and offers plenty of overclocking headroom beyond that. Thanks to the 55 nm GPU design and clever power saving methods the card even delivers in the performance per Watt segment.

CoolerMaster Silent Pro-M 600w Power Supply Review
Virtual-Hideout posted a review on the CoolerMaster Silent Pro-M 600w Power Supply

It may only be flexing 600 Watts. And, it may not look like it has anything special underneath that clean, sexy, black exterior. But, the CoolerMaster Silent Pro M 600W Power Supply does have some extra horse power hiding underneath the hood. This is why I suggested having a look at the test results before running off to buy a 700 Watt PSU. The Silent Pro M 600W is like a "sleeper" hot rod PSU hiding underneath that cool, black
exterior.

Cooler Master has been very busy of late launching several new cases, and today we'll be looking at their latest, the Sniper, first in their new CM: Storm series lineup. Cooler Master V8 Review

Maybe you are not aware of that, but chances that you already have Cooler Master cooler on your CPU are pretty big. How? Well, for example, every Intel Box cooler is actually made by Cooler Master. In their official product portfolio you can find large variety of CPU coolers. Right now Cooler Master "rules" in low and middle class CPU cooler products but in high end class Cooler Master was dragging behind "high rollers" in this "cool" game. Guided by idea that they need product that can compete with best of the best, Cooler Master has created (and presented) V series of coolers. Naming convention is simple so products in current lineup are: V8, V10 and V12. This time we present you Cooler Master V8 CPU cooler.

Neoseeker reviews the XFX GTX 285 XXX video card

In the end, the XFX GeForce GTX 285 XXX is video card that has the power to satisfy any gaming demands in the foreseeable future, comes with a Double Lifetime Warranty, superior technical support, the FPS achievement known as *Far Cry 2* (not to mention *Call of Duty 5*, from some online e-tailers), has a fine cooler on it, and is, by any measure, a complete, and well-executed package.

The gaming notebook market is filled with flashy, expensive systems that tend to offer poor value. However, MSI's GX630 rings up at just $799 with a dual-core Athlon X2 and a GeForce 9600M GT. Could this be the ideal system for the mobile gamer on a budget?

Scythe Kama Angle Review
OCC has published a new review of the Scythe Kama Angle

The Scythe Kama Angle was quite an odd looking cooler, to say the least, but its "V" shaped design was a success. The performance is where it should be and definitely put a good fight against the large Xigmatek HDT-S1283 cooler. The cooler was also one of the quietest CPU coolers that I have come across. This shouldn't come as a surprise though as Scythe is known for its silent coolers. An impressive feature about this cooler is its flexibility.

SilenX iXtrema Pro IXG-80HA2 with Optional XG-3F2 Fan Kit Review
TweakTown posted a review on the SilenX iXtrema Pro IXG-80HA2 with Optional XG-3F2 Fan Kit

SilenX has been around for quite some time. Based in California since 1995, the company was started up by a bunch of engineer hobbyists who were looking to find a quiet solution to cooling. Along with their hobbyist tinkering, comes a bunch of design and engineering knowledge as well. From what I can see so far with what they have shipped me, SilenX is wrapping their minds around almost every angle of this cooler. SilenX also has an extensive line of aftermarket PC products that are worth taking a look at. With the attention to detail this cooler has, I can bet they put the same thought into all their products.

Today we are looking at the SilenX IXtrema Pro IXG-80HA2 and IXG-3F2 optional fans, the latest in a large selection of SilenX products. The IXG-80HA2 is able to run passively, but the packaging does show where SilenX advises the use of the IXG-3F2 with most applications. At first glance this cooler appears large enough to take a good heat load from a GPU and the optional 80mm fan kit should do a good job of evacuating the heat from the fins.
