NZXT HALE82 850 Watt Modular Power Supply Review @ Hi Tech Legion
At 850 Watts, and with an 80+ Bronze Certification, the NZXT Hale82 850 Watt Modular PSU packs plenty of punch while still maintaining excellent efficiency. The NZXT Hale82 850 Watt Modular PSU is able to maintain greater than 82% efficiency, even at 100% load, lightening the amount of energy consumed and, consequently, lightening your electric bill. Unlike many items where energy efficiency typically equates in loss of performance, PSUs like the Hale82 use this to deliver every bit as much power to your components while drawing less from your outlet. In addition to efficiency, the NZXT Hale82 sports some very impressive power numbers, including 70A and 840W capabilities on a single high capacity 12v rail. NZXT keeps things safe in the Hale82, using protection for over voltage, current, power, temperature, under voltage, and short circuit protection.Read more
Raidmax Viper Mid-Tower Chassis Review @ TweakTown
Hop in my "way-back machine" with me as it has been almost two years since I reviewed the Skyline from Raidmax and this is likely why Raidmax didn't auto-associate for me at first. Judging from what I just went back and seen with the Skyline, there are lots of things that Raidmax could have updated, upgraded and brought up to speed with today's case offerings. Just from what I can see on the packaging, most of the issues with the older chassis have been reworked and the latest submission has been updated and this chassis comes with a very unique front bezel design and an interior color combination that threw me off my game for a few minutes.Read more
I don't want to give that surprise away just yet, but I will say that the latest mid-tower submission from Raidmax offers a fair amount of features, including native USB 3.0! Looking nothing like the last chassis I reviewed, this submission gets its name from either a car or a snake and since I don't see headlights, I'm putting my money on a snake. The front sort of reminds me of the expanded neck area of a snake ready to strike. The only issue with this theory is I don't see any eyes either, so your guess is as good as mine, I guess. The rest of the chassis has a somewhat dated layout, but it seems to work for this chassis.
Kingston Wi-Drive 16GB Review @ ThinkComputers.org
For those in the Android world who want to add extra storage to their device it is as easy as adding a memory card, but for all of us who use iOS devices we are stuck with the capacity of the device we purchase. With all of the movies, music, photos and apps out there it is easy to reach capacity on iOS devices. I'm sure many people get frustrated with this and Kingston knows this. This is why they have come up with the Wi-Drive. It is portable, wireless storage for your iPod, iPhone or iPad. Read on as we take a look...Read more
