Silverstone Nightjar SST-ST40NF Fanless PSU Review
DreamWare Computers posted a review on the Silverstone Nightjar SST-ST40NF Fanless PSU

Even to the most hardcore silent PC enthusiasts, a fanless power supply is often ousted as a way to power the computer. Most fanless power supplies on the market are somewhat dated models with low efficiency and enough heat to boil an egg on. Being one of the most critical components in a computer - that isn't exactly how I want to describe my power supply. This isn't an area that most manufacturers are brave enough to tinker in, so maybe only a small handful of fanless power supply models will actually hit the shelves each year. When SilverStone came out with the Nightjar series, a brand new 80PLUS Bronze certified high-efficiency fanless power supply, I just had to try it out.

Thermaltake SpinQ VT Review
OCC has published a review on the Thermaltake SpinQ VT

The Spin Q VT from Thermaltake has a lot going for it; it's good looking, has a manual fan speed control, ease of installation, comparable performance and a unique design. While it did not deliver the best performance out of the comparison heatsinks, it does offer performance on par with some of the other coolers on the market.

ASUS P7H55D-M EVO Clarksdale Motherboard Review
Benchmark Reviews posted a review on the ASUS P7H55D-M EVO Clarksdale Motherboard

Intel-land is becoming a very confusing place of late. An Intel Core i7 processor might be Socket 1366, or it might be Socket 1156. A Core i5 processor might be dual core or quad core; it might have Hyper-Threading or not, or integrated video or other features, and there's no way to tell just from the name. And to make things even more confusing, there are now four consumer-level chipsets for Core i5 processors: the original P55, as well as the new H55, H57, and Q57 chipsets. The newer chipsets are required if you want to use the integrated video feature of some of the Intel 2010 Core Processor Family CPUs, and ASUS, as always, is ready with new motherboards to support the latest technology. In this review Benchmark Reviews covers the new ASUS P7H55D-M EVO motherboard, based on the Intel H55 chipset.

Gigabyte X58A-UD3R Intel X58 LGA 1366 Motherboard Review
ThinkComputers.org posted a review on the Gigabyte X58A-UD3R Intel X58 LGA 1366 Motherboard

So in the back of my mind I had decided we had probably seen the last of the LGA 1366. A shame too, as there are other new technologies coming online, SuperSpeed USB 3, and SATA 6GB/s, and I figured the only way a Bloomfield user would get to use them would be by expansion cards. Then just last weekend I was chatting with a friend that had attended CES, who told me that Intel was working on a new LGA 1366 processor line, a six-core monster using 32nmyeah, I know, Im behind the times, the gossip about the new processors started back in Nov-Dec, but I was busy fixing up a fixer-upper house and moving during that time. Anyway, I got a little excited, hoping that maybe LGA 1366 wasnt dead, just in hibernation. The very next day, lo and behold, our friends at Gigabyte placed a cool little gem into my handsa brand new LGA 1366 motherboard, complete with onboard SATA 6GB/s and USB 3. Today I will be looking at the Gigabyte X58A-UD3R, the entry-level model of their three new X58 motherboards, which appear to be designated differently from the older models by an A after the X58 in their name, and ending with an R rather than the usual P. Will this be the board of the future? Read on to see!

Hardware Canucks posted a review of the new ASUS P7H57D-V EVO LGA1156 Motherboard

With P55 boards making inroads into nearly every price segment, there doesn't seem to be too much place in the market for boards based on Intel's lower-end chipsets. However, ASUS has released what some would call the King of H57 boards with their new P7H57D-V EVO. Not only does it come with SATA 6Gbps and USB 3.o compatibility but also support for dual GPUs and more overclocking options than one would expect on an H57-based product.

ASUS P7P55D-E Pro (P55 Express) Motherboard Review
TweakTown posted a review on the ASUS P7P55D-E Pro (P55 Express) Motherboard

After spending some time with the H5x series and the Clarkdale, we decided to head back and look at the newly revised “E” version of ASUS’ P7P55D series. These boards have been worked over to include both SATA 3.0 and SuperSpeed USB, all for a relatively low $189.99 over at Newegg. With the P55’s limited PCIe lanes, including these new technologies has required the use of a bridge chip to allow for proper PCIe bandwidth.

The P7P55D-E Pro also includes ASUS’ 16-Hybrid Phase (12+2 with T.Probe) which allows for real time balancing of power and heat generation. ASUS rounds out the P7P55D-E Pro with Auto-Tuning, Express Gate OS (a linux based OS for quick use) and Turbo EVO.

Spire TherMax II Cooler Review
Tweaknews posted a review on the Spire TherMax II Cooler

Although the Spire TherMax II does set out on the right course and follows the basic tower cooler construction, there are some design problems that are hindering the performance when compared to other products on the market today. Now with that being said, this in no way is a bad cooler. In fact, is is a very good option to consider if you are replacing a stock Intel heatsink and for the price, it isn't a bad deal.
