NZXT Avatar Gaming Mouse v2 Review
OCIA.net has posted their review of the NZXT Avatar Gaming Mouse v2

Six months ago NZXT sent over one of their new Avatar Gaming Mice for review. Seeing as how this was their first attempt at an input peripheral aimed specifically at the gaming enthusiast, the Avatar performed very well and got high marks from us and elsewhere around the 'net. About the only complaint we had with it was the placement of the side navigation buttons and their propensity for getting accidentally bumped while maneuvering the mouse. It seems we weren't the only ones to report this flaw, and NZXT we're happy to say has listened.

XSPC Delta V3 CPU Water Block w/Acetal Top
Bjorn3D takes a look at the XSPC Delta V3 CPU Water Block w/Acetal Top.

What we are going to be looking at today is the new Delta V3 CPU water block from a fairly new company to the USA enthusiast community, XSPC. These guys have been around for several years over in Europe and have been doing fairly well and have been improving their products every year. I’m really excited to give their new block a try and see just how well it stands up to the performance of my current favorite water block from Swiftech.

Dell's S2209W 22-inch Full HD LCD Monitor Review
bit-tech published a review of Dell's S2209W 22-inch Full HD LCD Monitor

In the end, it's one of those monitors that does better in isolation than in comparison. Viewed by itself, it's a pretty pleasant looking display that might just fool you -- at a glance -- into thinking it was a mediocre IPS panel. Placed side by side with a good VA or IPS screen, however, its short comings are obvious.

That said, there are two areas where it falls short by any standard. Worst of all is the backlight bleed around the top and bottom edges of the panel. It's the sort of basic image quality faux pas that does much to cheapen the overall feel of the monitor.

Then there's the vertical viewing angle problem. Some recent panels have recently made significant strides in improving the notoriously restricted vertical viewing angles of TN technology. But not the S2209W.

Finally, there's the question of value for money. Again, it comes down to the old absolute versus relative conundrum. At first, a sticker price of just under £150 certainly feels like a good deal for a fairly stylish, high resolution display. But then you have to consider the fact that you can snag Dell's own new 23-inch 1080p panel (which is actually a full 1.5 inches bigger) for about £40 more. That extra inch and a half is certainly tempting.

Lowepro Cirrus TLZ 25 review
DV Hardware has published a review of the Cirrus TLZ 25 camera bag from Lowepro.

One of the disadvantages of a dSLR is that it's significantly larger than a point-and-shoot digicam, you can't just tuck it away in your pocket or bag so one of the accessories that will come in handy on-the-go is a camera bag. In this review I'm taking a closer look at the Lowepro Cirrus TLZ 25, this is the largest model in Lowepro's toploading Cirrus TLZ series. This particular holster bag was designed for one digital SLR camera with short zoom lens attached, and a couple of small accessories.

ASRock X58 SuperComputer Motherboard Review
TweakTown posted a review on the ASRock X58 SuperComputer Motherboard

ASRock has been known to us here at TweakTown as producing a more rounded board aimed at the mainstream and value end of the spectrum. Never would we consider putting this motherboard maker into the hardcore and overclocking segments that ASUS, MSI and GIGABYTE has managed to push into, yet ASRock for all their trying are aiming for the top. And why not!

Today’s motherboard market is cut throat. To survive you need to either have a unique product or to produce a mainstream product at the cheapest price. ASRock hasn’t produced anything unique, but they are able to keep prices down. The ASRock X58 SuperComputer aimed towards the mainstream and extreme users comes to us at a price of $294.99 USD from Newegg and at this price it’s one of the cheapest X58 boards out there. But how does it perform compared to the likes of ASUS and MSI? – Let’s find out.

Kanguru e-Flash USB and eSATA Combo Flash Drive Review
Maximum CPU has posted its review of the Kanguru e-Flash USB and eSATA Combo Flash Drive

For the longest time, portable flash drives have been tied to the USB interface, despite faster interfaces for external devices being available. Perhaps this is because of the popularity and proven history of the USB interface. However, a small and rather unknown company by the name of Kanguru set out to change things up and introduced the eFlash, a flash drive which can be used with either USB or eSATA interfaces . Kanguru claims the drive is over twice as fast when using eSATA instead of USB 2.0

AMD Phenom 2 X4 810/ X3 720 BE - DDR3 Review
DriverHeaven posted a review on the AMD Phenom 2 X4 810/ X3 720 BE - DDR3

Nearly two months ago AMD launched the Phenom 2 with the main benefit over the original Phenom being enhanced performance on the higher end model. That was not the only improvement though as technology such as cool n quiet was improved and as a result the launch was quite successful, even if the processors were priced a little high. At that point the one thing which was missing from the AMD line-up was support for DDR3 which Intel have been providing for quite some time, today we look at the first couple of CPUs which resolve that issue.

ASUS VH242H 24-inch 16:9 Widescreen LCD Monitor Review
PC Stats posted ASUS VH242H 24-inch 16:9 Widescreen LCD Monitor Review

On the test bench at PCSTATS today is the ASUS VH242H 23.6" (hereafter 24") widescreen LCD display. This LCD computer monitor features a 16:9 aspect ratio and native resolution of 1920x1080 pixels that goes hand in hand with 1080p HD content oh so nicely. Put another way, the viewable area is roughly two and a half sheets of 8.5x11" paper taped together if you want to compare it to your current monitor. The 24" panel has an anti-reflective coating and features a brightness rating of 300 cd/m2, dynamic contrast of 20,000:1 and the industry standard 5ms G-to-G pixel refresh time.

Nanoxia FX Series Waterproof Case Fans Review
OCModShop takes a look at the Nanoxia FX Series Waterproof Case Fans

Case fans are the one part of a computer that many people overlook in t he midst of such techno-talk as new GPUs, SLI compatibility, and SATA hard drives. I, however, have had a very nasty experience with an over heating computer and I never wish to live through the ordeal again. In comes Nanoxia, a German manufacturer with nothing but the cool side of life on their mind.

The three Nanoxia products I reviewed were simply their FX08 80 millimeter fan, their FX09 92 millimeter fan, and finally their FX12 120 millimeter fan. First things first, each fan not only comes with, obviously, the fan itself, but four of their Vibekiller shock absorber bolts, a fan speed controller, and a 10 year warranty.

Scythe Kama Angle CPU Cooler Review
PCShopTalk posted a review on the Scythe Kama Angle CPU Cooler

The next part of the installation is very easy, the mounting system being based on push-pins like the Intel CPU coolers. We simply have to push the pins until we hear a click an that's it. The problem is with the clearance. Not all motherboards have the CPU socket placed in the same position. For example, the Jetway P45 has the socket positioned in a too up and left position, so when I wanted to install the cooler onto it, the heatsink was hitting the upper part of the motherboard tray and the fan from the back of the case.

Super Talent PC3-12800 Triple Channel Memory Review
Viper Lair posted a review on the Super Talent PC3-12800 Triple Channel Memory

While DDR2 memory is anything but passe, DDR3 nonetheless is here to stay. The future of DDR3 is now etched in stone with the release of the i7and its memory controller contained within, you have but one choice.

Super Talent continues to “upgraded” their look, this reviewer believes the gold needs to go, I understand the reference of it, the aesthetics just aren't there. The heatspreaders are ribbed Aluminum with “risers” coming off the top. While we at VL have never been able to prove the addition of heatspreaders are of value, I suppose its better to have them then not, just in case you know :):. Super Talent, like most manufacturers today, are RoHS compliant with their chips, which basically means youcan eat them and not die from led poisoning etc... The packaging ofthe Super Talent Extreme Performance memory modules is that of simplicity with little fanfare other then a short paragraph on the back of what denotes “Extreme Performance” in Super Talents dictionary.

Noctua NH-U9B CPU Cooler Review
TweakTown posted a review on the Noctua NH-U9B CPU Cooler

Today Noctua has sent us the NH-U9B CPU cooler for testing along with a matching optional fan to allow for dual fan testing. The Noctua NH-U9B is a scaled down version of the NH-U12P that we reviewed some time ago. The major difference with these two coolers is that this is a 92mm fan cooled version for HTPC, or possibly even some SFF cases. This four heat-pipe cooler shows promise from what I have read in reviews of other products, as well as word of mouth from forum members and highly experienced people like Chris.

I know, technically the NH-U9B shouldn’t compete with its larger brother in temperatures, but Noctua pride themselves on quiet solutions to CPU cooling. With this in mind, I would hope this cooler is in fact quiet and can still hold its own footing battling temperatures. It is time we get to opening up Noctua’s NH-U9B and see if everything I have been lead to believe is true.

Cooler Master Storm Sniper Review
OCC has published a new review of the Cooler Master Storm Sniper

The Cooler Master Storm Sniper was able to beat out the Cooler Master Cosmos S case at every test except for when the GPU was at a full load reading. I am not very surprised, due to how large the fans that are installed in the Storm case there are, along with the massive amounts of room for air flow that there is.

Sapphire Radeon HD 4670 GDDR4 & HD 4830 Review
Techgage.com posted a review of Sapphire's HD 4670 GDDR4 and HD 4830 graphics cards, both of which retail for under $100

Gaming on a budget isn't as difficult as it once was, thanks to superb offerings from both ATI and NVIDIA that go for a modest price. But, what about the sub-$100 crowd? We'll find that out here, at least from the ATI side of things, with Sapphire's HD 4670 GDDR4 and HD 4830. Both feature great efficiency, and believe it or not, great overclocking as well.
