Today for review I've got the Ultra M998 Mid-Tower ATX PC Case and it just might be one of those cases that offers most if not all of the things we want to see in a quality case. The M998 is named after the tough and rugged M998 HMMWV military vehicle or more commonly know as the Hummvee, the case isn't quite military standard issue but it does have some resemblance to military stylings on the outside with user friendly features inside and out as well.Ultra m998 Mid-Tower ATX Case Review

With a good sized keyboard and 12.1" screen, you can actually get quite a bit of work done on the ASUS U6S - I make it a point to write all my notebook reviews using the machine under testing so I an get a feel of how it responds to real world situations. I was able to type on machine without any issues except the standard mis-types associated with differently placed keys like the backslash. For comparison, the full sized Microsoft keyboard on my desktop is only about 2 inches longer from the edge of the caps lock key to the outside edge of the enter key when compared to the ASUS U6S. Other machines like the ASUS Eee PC are obviously a different story in this regard.ASUS U6S 12.1" Ultra-mobile Notebook Review
Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 Review
OCC has published a new review of the Intel Core 2 Duo E8500
Overclocking this chip has been a pure pleasure. When paired with the X38 chipset, the potential could be far out there with the correct cooling setup. I started at 400 x 9 and 1.35v and the system booted so flawlessly that I knew that it was thirsty for more. So I jumped the multiplier to 9.5 and kept raising the FSB by 15MHz while keeping the voltage the same until it would not boot. Then I upped the voltage and started again. In the end I was able to push the Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 chip to 4.322GHz before the temps got high enough to make me not want to take the chance. I ended up with the E8500 at 455FSB x 9.5 multiplier for the speed I obtained with a voltage increase to 1.45v. At 4.322GHz I was able to complete SuperPI, Orthos Prime and all of the benchmarks with no problems at all.Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 Review
DisplayLink USB-to-DVI Graphics Adapter Review
Futurelooks takes a look at one of those convenient USB graphics adapters
At the end of the day, I only have one major opinion about this product: I like it! The DisplayLink USB-to-DVI adapter, which you can find under a number of different brands, is incredibly easy to use and provides for a very convenient way to expand your desktop workspace. It works particularly well with notebooks, because laptops typically do not come with more than one video output. If you look at many laptops with integrated graphics, the only available output is VGA and this can be terribly frustrating when the monitor you want is DVI only.DisplayLink USB-to-DVI Graphics Adapter Review
GIGABYTE GeForce 8800GT TurboForce Review

GIGABYTE graphics cards seem to be few and far between these days because they like to do things a bit differently. We’re all for standing out from the pack, and the latest card from GIGABYTE to jump into that category would be the TurboForce Edition of the 8800GT.GIGABYTE GeForce 8800GT TurboForce Review
The Zalman cooler that they use isn’t anything new, we’ve seen it used on the HD 3870 that GIGABYTE released a few months back. With that said though, it really is a tried and tested cooler that seems to be extremely efficient. The copper in the middle of the cooler helps move the heat and the aluminum fins help the heat dissipate quickly.

Cooler Master Cosmos S system chassis review
Elite Bastards took a look at Cooler Master's new high-end system chassis, the Cosmos S.
So, here it is in all its glory - Cooler Master's Cosmos S chassis. We talk frequently in our reviews about how aesthetics are very much in the eye of the beholder, put to this reviewer's taste the Cosmos S is one fantastic looking case. While the general shape of this chassis is very much similar to the original Cosmos, the front of the bezel is markedly different. For starters, the cold-rolled sheet steel used by the Cosmos of old has been replaced by the use of aluminium in the Cosmos S, which in turn makes this case over 3 kilograms lighter, weighing in at 13.8 kg compared to 17kg for the original Cosmos.Cooler Master Cosmos S system chassis review

Thermal Compound Round-Up
HardwareLogic.com posted a Thermal Compound Round-Up
Last week, I happened upon a forum thread about thermal compounds; asking which was best for a variety of scenarios. This got me thinking that maybe it was time to take a look at the various cooling solutions available on the market.Thermal Compound Round-Up
After a visit to Newegg.com, and spending $85, I now have more syringes than Amy Winehouse. Today, we'll cover every thermal compound we can find (more than 20), and explain things like thermal resistance, conductivity, and which thermal compound is the best choice for you. While the performance results may not be dramatically different (which is actually a good thing), we'll dig a little deeper and look at things a bit differently.
