GIGABYTE P67A-UD4 Motherboard Performance Review
Legit Reviews posted a performance review of the GIGABYTE P67A-UD4 Motherboard

GIGABYTE Motherboards have always employed a wide variety of colors on them. At least until now. The GIGABYTE P67A-UD4 motherboard features the all new blacked out color scheme! First impressions, they look great! Unfortunately, looks won't do anything for performance. Today we are going to take the newly designed GIGABYTE P67A-UD4 out for a test drive. While it looks great, the question will be does it perform? Read on to find out if the performance matches the looks!

Just because the GIGABYTE P67A-UD4 isn't the flagship board doesn't mean that it is lacking in features. In fact, the GIGABYTE P67A-UD4 shares many of the features of the flagship P67A-UD7. We'll start out with the basic similarities between most (if not all) Intel P67 motherboards. SATA6 is supported via the Intel P67 chipset. I haven't come across any P67 boards that aren't taking advantage of USB 3.0. In the case of the GIGABYTE P67A-UD4 there is a pair of Renesas D720200 chips which supplies us with two USB 3.0 ports on the rear I/O panel, as well as a header that will run a pair of front panel USB 3.0 ports. We will take a peek at the Renesas chips as well as others when we look at the layout of the GIGABYTE P67A-UD4....

MSI E350IA-E45 AMD Brazos Fusion APU Platform Review
PC Perspective posted MSI E350IA-E45 AMD Brazos Fusion APU Platform Review

The MSI E350IA-E45 mini-ITX motherboard is the first system to hit our test bench that integrates the AMD E-350 Fusion APU into a desktop-ready configuration. By combining great performance per watt with features like SATA 6.0 Gb/s and USB 3.0, the MSI motherboard would make a great contender for a new low cost home theater build. Does it stand out at all from the reference platform we saw last year though?

Smartfish Whirl Laser Mouse w/ Anti-Gravity Comfort Pivot Review
TestFreak posted a review on the Smartfish Whirl Laser Mouse w/ Anti-Gravity Comfort Pivot

The mouse is the one thing that most of use take for granted, not for how it’s used but for what can happen to you with long terms usage. For those of us that use a mouse everyday for hours on end we can be susceptible to RSI or repetitive stress injury. Sure there are companies out there that have come out with ergonomic mice, but only one claims to be the world’s first truly ergonomic mouse and that’s the Whirl from Smartfish. The mouse is wireless and it sits on top of pivoting platform so you hand moves more naturally when you’re using thus possibly reducing the risk of RSI to the user. The Whirl has been designed in collaboration with the #1 orthopedic hospital in the states, so they might know what they’re talking about.

On the whole, Sapphire Fusion Mini E350 is an interesting solution that offers more expandability than competing boards. Gigabit Ethernet and USB 3.0 are not a peculiarity for this class of products, and the supplied Bluetooth is surely not a drawback, even despite the implementation.

Corsair H60 Liquid CPU Cooler Review
HardwareHeaven.com posted a review on the Corsair H60 Liquid CPU Cooler

Twelve months ago there were two major players in the factory sealed liquid cooler market, Corsair with their H50 and H70 models and CoolIT with their ECO and Vantage products. All four products were impressive in their own right and these two manufacturers were competing against each other for the same consumers, each looking for reviews and user experience to show their cooler in the best light.

Things change quickly in the technology world though and today we take a look at a product which a year ago we wouldn't have thought possible, a cooler which is co-produced by CoolIT and Corsair... the H60.

Apacer TurboII Series-AS602 120GB Solid State Drive Review
TweakTown posted a review on the Apacer TurboII Series-AS602 120GB Solid State Drive

Apacer is known for their industrial products in the US, but in Australia and the rest of the APAC region their consumer product line competes with many of the big names that compete globally. Apacer offers many product types, from USB hubs to media players and flash products. Their latest offering is what is putting Apacer in the TweakTown spotlight today; an ultra fast SandForce based SSD that rivals those coming from the US.

The Apacer TurboII-Series AS602 ships with one of the best accessory packages we've seen to date, and the drive itself has the best aluminum case we've seen since the Patriot Inferno. There are two distinct packages for the AS602; a desktop upgrade kit that includes 2.5" to 3.5" drive rails and a notebook upgrade kit that includes a USB to SATA cable that makes cloning your existing drive with Acronis (included) easier. Both packages also include a rubber drive surround that adds extra drive protection and keeps your drive from being scratched.

Gigabyte Fusion E350N USB3 Motherboard Review
Ninjalane has posted their review of the E350 based system from Gigabyte the GA-E350N-USB3

In the excitement associated with having the best processor or motherboard we sometimes forget that our systems have gotten a little overpowered for the average every day user. That's not to say we can't use 6 processor cores or can benefit from an insanely fast memory controller but rather that we don't always need all of that power to check email or watch a high quality movie.

Samsung NX100 Compact System Camera Review
DreamWare Computers posted a review on the Samsung NX100 Compact System Camera

Just recently, Samsung has released their second mainstream CSC camera, the NX100. The NX100 is a much smaller camera than the previous NX10, and many of the SLR-style features have been done away with. The NX100 has no optical viewfinder built-in, nor does it have a flash, and the body is much thinner like a traditional compact camera. Many great accessories make it easy to add a flash, optical viewfinder, or even GPS unit onto this model.

HIS Radeon HD 6850 IceQ X Turbo Review
eTeknix.com posted their HIS Radeon HD 6850 IceQ X Turbo Review

The radeon 6850 hit the market in October last year and was a big step up for AMD in regards to developing new technologies and harnessing older architecture by improving on its already successful reign.
This included improving on DirectX 11 technology whilst also pushing as much performance out of the card as possible whilst maintaining a low power draw. The 6800 series cards were all about performance vs power.
One of AMD's biggest partners in pushing the 6800 series forward are HIS, who offer some unique designs and higher clock frequencies when comparing to other brands on the market. This includes the HIS IceQ series cards which offer up some of the funkiest coolers pre-applied to the card and the Turbo edition cards which give that extra clock speed compared to stock cards.
HIS have now hit the market by storm with a new IceQ X cooler giving a "chilled" look style plastic design with the Turbo power giving higher clock speeds straight from the factory.
