Bjorn3D takes a look at the Synology DS209+
Organizing and sharing digital contents have become a big headache for many people because of ever expanding digital contents. Ten years ago, only in a business environment would you find a dedicated data storage setup to share files among different users. For many home users, a simple router or switch seems to do the job just fine to network all the computers in a household to allow direct file transfer between desktop systems.Synology DS209+ Review
Fast forward 10 years, and we are in the age where digital files are everywhere due to widespread of broadband network. Digital contents, such as MP3 files, pictures, and multi-media are popping up everywhere with the iPods and digital recorders, and the booming of other download media. The widespread of digital media creates a problem of centralizing data and sharing among different computers even in a common household where it is not unusual to find two or more computers. Compare to 10 years ago, the numbers of files have grown exponentially and the file sizes are getting bigger due to HD contents gaining popularity.
Luckily, as digital age booms, the price for storage devices are dropping and at the same time, what used to be reserved for business and enterprise use has trickled down to a consumer level price tag. NAS, network attached storage, is one of those devices where it can help to alleviate the problem one may face with data storage and sharing.

So what exactly makes the Spedo a case that stands out in a crowd Plenty. First off, it's a massive full-tower case standing a full 24 inches tall, with two massive 230mm fans, a 140mm fan and three 120mm fans. Clearly, that is a lot of cooling packed into a case making this a case aimed directly toward the enthusiast gaming community. I think it is a pretty safe bet that we have all come to love USB thumb drives. I still remember the first time someone handed me one at a LAN party. At that time they were in their infancy, kind of clunky like a 1960s car, a little slow but it sure beat the heck out of burning a driver on a CD to pass around.Super Talent Luxio Series 64GB USB Flash Drive Review

Sapphire PC-AM2RS790GX Pure 790GX Motherboard Review
OCC has published a new review on the Sapphire PC-AM2RS790GX Pure 790GX Motherboard
I must say I am very impressed with this motherboard. It ran very stable at stock speeds and overclocked, even though the overclock was not that high. I like how Sapphire took the time in the designing of the board's features, although there were a couple of design flaws I noticed during the testing. First, the placement of the top two SATA ports and the onboard power and reset buttons are covered when you are using a large video card, such as the GTX 260 used in this review, rendering them useless. Even using right-angle SATA cables, I could not get access to the ports. Secondly, there is a lot of empty real estate on the back panel. It would have been nice to have a couple of extra USB 2.0 ports available and even maybe an eSATA port.Sapphire PC-AM2RS790GX Pure 790GX Motherboard Review
Thermaltake V14Pro (CL-P0472 ) CPU Cooler Review
XtremeComputing posted a review on the Thermaltake V14Pro (CL-P0472 ) CPU Cooler
Thermaltake have taken the design of the V1 and tweaked and enlarged it into a monster that is the V14Pro. The added bulk is not in vain though and it works well and temperatures are improved because of it. The fan on full speed is loud, and I wouldn’t want to run it like that all the time, but the manual fan speed controller allows you to dial in your own compromise between noise and performance.Thermaltake V14Pro (CL-P0472 ) CPU Cooler Review
