Cooler Master Sniper Case Review
DV Hardware has published a review of the Sniper, the first case in the Cooler Master Storm series.

The Cooler Master Storm Sniper is described as an ultra mid tower PC chassis for gamers, it's made out of steel and has several fans along with large front and side mesh bezels to keep your hardware cool. At first sight, the design of the Sniper reminds me a bit of the Cooler Master Cosmos S, but without the handles and with larger air vents. However, after taking a closer look it becomes clear the CM Sniper has several unique features.

TestFreaks takes a look at the Cooler Master CM Storm Sniper PC Case

Today for review I've got the CM Storm Sniper PC case and it's a case that has to really be seen in person to appreciate, but in this review I'll do my best to show you what it look like. I've got a video tour, along with many still pictures for you to see. The CM Storm Sniper is a very well made made case with features that everyone can appreciate, gamer or not. The design definitely has a military look to it, and it's got a built in fan controller along with removable hard drive trays and even a cut out in the motherboard tray for easily swapping out CPU coolers, it's a feature packed case that's well made, and looks great.

HTC 2-in-1 USB Audio & Charger Adapter for HTC Smartphone
DragonSteelMods posted a review on the HTC 2-in-1 USB Audio & Charger Adapter for HTC Smartphone

Up on the review block today I've got a brief review of a little gadget that turns the USB port on your HTC cellphone into two ports allowing you to use headphones and charge or sync your phone at the same time. It's a useful little product if you need something like this, and it's inexpensive as well, coming in at around $10 shipped.

HTC 11 pin Mini USB to Stereo 3.5 mm Jack Adapter Review
DragonSteelMods posted a review on the HTC 11 pin Mini USB to Stereo 3.5 mm Jack Adapter

Today for review I've got a product from our friends at USBFever, it's very small, very useful and very inexpensive as well. If you've got an HTC cellphone then you know you can't use a standard set of headphones with it, the phone has a mini-USB jack on it for headphones so you need an adapter. I've got an HTC TyTn II, or AT&T Tilt actually, and I do like to use it at times as an MP3 player. USBFever has sent me over the HTC 11 pin Mini USB to Stereo 3.5 mm Jack Adapter for review to help fix the problem, this product is not only small, but inexpensive as well, so read on...

Samsung LN52A630 LCD TV Review
Computer & Consumer Electronic Reviews has posted a review on the Samsung LN52A630 LCD TV

Whether or not the economic recession is here or if your current 27" CRT TV just died on you like mine, you may be in the market for an affordable TV that offers a little more than just the basics. The Samsung A630 is just that. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles of the 750, 850 or 950 series but it doesn't cut any corners on the basics to keep the prices down.

NZXT Avatar Gaming Mouse Review
Viper Lair takes a look at the NZXT Avatar Gaming Mouse

As for making a difference in my game play, the answer is a yes* with a * for me. While I understood the reasoning for gaming mice, I never really thought much about it as I never really considered myself a serious gamer. That changed the last 18 months as I have been pretty much a regular Call of Duty 4 gamer, and as of late, I took competition a little more seriously. What this essentially means is that any sort of edge I could find, I would at least give it a try. From PC upgrades to a change in Internet provider, the last issues I seemed to have were my input devices. As I had been using the Microsoft Wireless Desktop 7000 for a while, one issue I have always had was the freezing (where my wireless connection would drop) on occasion. With the NZXT Avatar, this problem was obviously gone (I also replaced my keyboard with a corded one).

GigaByte EX58-UD4P Review
Bjorn3D takes a look at the GigaByte EX58-UD4P

Since the introduction of the x58 chipset and the Core i7 CPU, it is kinda hard to determine which board is the better one or provides the most features. That includes the one thing we all like to have on our computers, which is, stability. And that's whether it's at default CPU speeds or when we overclock our computers just a little bit to gain that extra performance or overclock our components a lot. We all want to have stability. It does help to make overclocking a little easier and make the adjustments a bit more understandable as well.

With this being said, let's take look at a motherboard from GigaByte, The EX59-UD4P. GigaByte is pulling out all of the stops on this motherboard, from the use of all solid capacitors and ferrite core chokes to a few more added features on this motherboard, that so far, (from what I've seen) other motherboard manufacturers have not used. Let's get this show on the road as I run this motherboard through its paces and try to run it ragged.

AMD Phenom II X4 810 Review
InsideHW.com has reviewed AMD Phenom II X4 810

Whenever is new generation of CPUs presented, either by Intel or by AMD, besides high-end models always are presented models for users that don't demand top-performance levels. There are various ways to "slow down" existing high-end core. One of those is "partial amputation" of L2 or L3 cache memory, or "total amputation" of one or more cores. In most cases faulty segments of CPU are disabled although in some cases this isn't the case. Sometimes manufacturer disables perfectly operational segments of CPU so demands for such CPUs can be met. This means that even if you bought triple-core CPU, it doesn't imply that you got 75% of fully functional quad-core. Same goes for L3 cache.

OCZ 6GB PC3-12800 Platinum DDR3 Triple Channel Memory Kit Review
Hardware Canucks posted areview of the OCZ 6GB PC3-12800 Platinum DDR3 Triple Channel Memory Kit.

While this low latency kit has impressive specifications, it is its admirably low price that draws our attention. This memory kit retails for as low as $150CDN (even lower with available mail-in rebates), which is unbelievable Bang for the Buck. There is no denying that in recent months DDR3 prices have tumbled like a drunk down a flight of stairs, but we would never expected such value so soon.

Thermaltake Xaser VI Review
PureOverclock posted a review on the Thermaltake Xaser VI

The folks over at Thermaltake apparently noticed that even full tower cases were no longer big enough to get the job done for some builds. Seeing this need, they sought to correct this problem, by creating a "Super Tower" case. The case to solve the growing need for more space comes to us in the form of the Thermaltake Xaser VI Super Tower case.

24" HP Debranded HDMI Widescreen LCD Monitor Review
OCIA.net has posted their review of the 24" HP Debranded HDMI Widescreen LCD Monitor

Anyone that spends a lot of time in front of a computer monitor, whether for business or pleasure, knows that productivity is directly related to how much screen space you have at your disposal. Having several windows and programs open and visible at one time can save you a lot of time. Up until recently, if you really wanted a lot of desktop real estate, but didn't want to spend a small fortune to get it, the most economical choice was to run dual monitors. Now that LCD monitor prices have dropped substantially in price, however, many can now afford to upgrade to a larger monitor without breaking the bank. Such is the case with today's review sample, the 24" HP Debranded HDMI Widescreen LCD Monitor.

Cooler Master V10 Hybrid Heatpipe/T.E.C. CPU Cooler Review
Tweaknews posted a review on the Cooler Master V10 Hybrid Heatpipe/T.E.C. CPU Cooler

Cooler Master's V10 is impressive in many respects. Size and stature are reassuringly large, but fitment may be an issue for some motherboards and cases. The engineering innovation and design are quite nice, as is the fit and finish. Unfortunately, the high cost and potentially troublesome installation leave something to be desired. Frankly, there are better performing coolers out there that are half the price, easier to install and perform just as well.

GSkill 2000 MHZ C9 DDR3 Review
The Guru of 3D posted a review on the GSkill 2000 MHz CAS9 triple channel DDR3 memory kit

We test some very fine G.Skill DDR3 memory today. They recently introduced a 2000 MHz | PC3 16000 DDR3 triple channel memory kit for Core i7. Very impressive, nice timings and a good price. G.Skills 3GB DDR3 2000MHz DDR3 Triple Channel memory kit comes with timings of CL9 (9-9-9-24) at 1.65V, and next to that they pimped it up with a PI Series Black memory heatsink. All in all we can already share, a very competitive and interesting set of memory.

But is high frequency memory realy worth the buzz and premium price ?

Asus M4A78T-E AM3 DDR3 Motherboard Review
Bjorn3D takes a look at the Asus M4A78T-E AM3 DDR3 Motherboard.

Asus has always been in the fast lane when it comes to releasing new technology and this time they're one of the first to field a viable AM3 board that budget minded enthusiasts can afford. The Asus M4A78T-E is targeted toward the new AM3 Phenom II lineup of CPU's and takes DDR3. We were excited to see the new generation board becoming available and when Asus offered one of the M4A78T-E boards up to the benchmarking alter we were quick to accept.

What we're most interested in is the overclocking ability and how far the board can drive the CPU. We expect much the same results with DDR3 that Intel chips had when part of the 775 platform moved to DDR3. Some people will love it while others will hold on to their DDR2 until the cows come home.

No matter if you're in the DDR2 or DDR3 camp AMD, has you covered with AM2+ and AM3 CPU's on one of the most flexible platforms we've ever seen. If you want to use the Asus M4A78T-E you'll have to use DDR3, and we can easily recommend the AM3+ platform for it's longevity. New products will be coming out for the AM3 platform. AM2+ got a reprieve but soon it'll be getting stale. So, sit back and relax and leave the testing to Bjorn3D.

ThermoLab BARAM CPU Cooler Review
TweakTown posted a review on the ThermoLab BARAM CPU Cooler

ThermoLab has sent us the BARAM CPU cooler for testing. The BARAM is a Korean word which translates to airflow in English. Thermolab has taken great measures with BARAM to impart this cooler with that philosophy. ThermoLab looked at the basic tower style cooler design and came up with solutions to improve on this idea. With that quest, ThermoLab has developed some very innovative concepts which are put into practice with the BARAM. While a lot of this tech is nothing new, very few manufacturers have put it all together in one complete package.

The cooler ships from ThermoLab without a fan included. This does two things that benefit the end user in my opinion. First, it allows them to keep manufacturing costs down a bit and they can pass that saving on to their customers. Secondly, it allows the end-user to pick and choose what fan has the best CFM while still staying within satisfactory sound limits, depending on what each individual ear can take. For testing I went average on my fan choice and I’ll explain later why I made that choice. Enough with all this talk, let’s get to the BARAM and see what ThermoLab has come up with this time.
