Thermaltake Level 10 GT Case Review
ThinkComputers.org posted a review on the Thermaltake Level 10 GT Case
Thermaltake surprised everyone when they announced the Level 10 case. It was something that we had never seen before and was really a design marvel. While the case was truly amazing the price tag was not, not many people have $800 to drop on a case. Thermaltake knew this, but still loved the design of the Level 10 so they have released the Level 10 GT, which keeps some of the same styling of the original Level 10, but drops the price considerably. This case features 5 hot-swappable hard drive bays, USB 3.0 connectivity, three 200mm fans, and some cool lighting effects. Let’s check it out and see if Thermaltake has another winner.Read more
GSKill RipjawsX PC3 17000 CL9 Memory Review
Ninjalane has posted their review of the GSKill RipjawsX 2133 modules for the Sandy Bridge platform.
As a general rule of thumb you will see a significant performance increase whenever you can run your memory clock above the default 13.33x multiplier setting and that is what you will get from these modules. While the F3-17000CL9D RipjawsX modules might not have the best timings their overall performance is perfect for gaming and general purpose computingRead more

Filling out its eSPORTS line-up, Thermaltake recently released three different gaming headsets under the "Shock" name, with the lowest-end $60 offering being the one we're taking a look at here. Computing on Demand has posted a new article, 'To The Cloud: Windows Live and Remote Access'
Most of you have probably seen the commercials from Microsoft touting the cloud experience behind Windows 7 and Windows Live. The thing is... many of us that have Windows 7 don't really know how to do some of the things they show in those commercials. In this multi-part series, we will attempt to demystify the "cloud" and show you how to make it happen.Read more
Kingston SSDNow V100 256GB Solid State Drive Review
TweakTown posted a review on the Kingston SSDNow V100 256GB Solid State Drive
Last week we showed you the new Kingston SSDNow V+100 that uses a new Toshiba controller and offers good mainstream performance, but the current price is quite a bit higher than what we wanted to see. Today we're looking at the new Kingston SSDNow V100 with a Toshiba labeled controller designed in cooperation with JMicron. The V100 is Kingston's new budget series that is designed to meet the needs of mainstream users.Read more
Last year we showed the Kingston SSDNow V Series and the new V100 is the updated replacement model. The new V100 is more of an evolutionary upgrade since it uses the same 64MB cache capacity, but the flash has been upgraded to 32nm (shrunk from 43nm). Both the V and V100 are controlled by a controller based on the JM618, so the main changes rest in the NAND flash and firmware.
EVGA GeForce GTX 550Ti FPB Edition DirectX 11 Video Card Review
Hi Tech Legion posted a review on the EVGA GeForce GTX 550Ti FPB Edition DirectX 11 Video Card
The EVGA GTX 550 Ti FPB video card is a major improvement over the GTS 450. The EVGA GTX 550 Ti is factory overclocked at 951 MHz (Core) from the default 900 MHz. The memory clocks are also bumped up on the EVGA GTX 550 Ti FPB to 4356 MHz from the standard 3600 MHz. Like all EVGA video cards, the GTX 550 Ti FPB video card comes bundled with EVGA's Precision and OC Scanner software. EVGA offers a 3 year warranty on the GTX 550 Ti, which covers parts and labor and can be extended when the video card is registered on EVGA's website within 30 days of purchase.Read more
SteelSeries Scope Pro Gaming Glasses Review
Vortez posted a review on the SteelSeries Scope Pro Gaming Glasses
So here we are with something quite different today. SteelSeries are well known within the gaming community for their high-quality gaming peripherals. They stand out as a brand that are concerned with delivering products that serve a purpose. Knowing their products well and speaking with them recently I know that they are keen to design products that are purposeful rather than gimmicky. Today's product under review may on initial impressions appear to be the latter but read over the pages and you will be assured otherwise.Read more
MEZZI Traveler Edition Roller Aluminum Black Laptop Case
Maximum CPU has posted its review of the MEZZI Traveler Edition Roller Aluminum Black Laptop Case
I was not aware of Mezzi as a company before this review. A quick look through their product listings shows that they make utility and designer-style cases for a variety of purposes – laptop cases, briefcases, and rolling luggage are all offered. Mezzi offers some rather luxury touches on some models, included velvet lining and wood paneling. Recently, the TV show “Deal or No Deal” featured their cases to hold prizes.Read more
They certainly offer a wide variety of cases and case styles, but they are competing with Halliburton (now Zero Halliburton, after splitting away from the oil production firm) in terms of durability and toughness. I fully do not expect a case in this price range to give a Zero case a run in terms of quality, but I would be quite impressed if it was built well.

Noctua NH-C14 CPU Cooler Review
OCIA.net has posted their review of the Noctua NH-C14 CPU Cooler
As aftermarket CPU coolers continue a trend of "bigger is badder", manufacturers must constantly tweak their designs to ensure compatibility across multiple platforms. Perhaps no one knows this better than Austrian company Noctua. Within the last year we've reviewed three coolers from them, the NH-D14, the C12P SE14 and the U9B SE2, and two of those feature their signature NF-P14 140mm fan. If you thought finding room to put one 140mm fan on a CPU cooler wasn't challenging enough, today we take a look at Noctua's latest creation, the NH-C14, and see how they manage to squeeze two of them on there.Read more
Sapphire Radeon HD 6990 4GB Graphics Card Review
eTeknix.com posted a review on the Sapphire Radeon HD 6990 4GB Graphics Card
Well they kept that one quiet, didn’t they? The 6990 was yet ANOTHER launch from AMD that had no publicity whatsoever. Cast your mind back to the 6800 and 6950/6970 launches and i bet even then you can’t remember much about them. There’s a very good reason why, and it’s all down to AMD themselves who don’t believe in fancy, extravagant launches but yet prefer to just release a product with no big bang or anything. We're still unsure as to why they do this, but i'm sure they have their reasons behind it. The 5970 has been in the limelight for a long time as it was classed as AMD's flagship graphics card when it comes to Dual GPU, and with plenty of single based GPU cards being released from both AMD and Nvidia, it was only a matter of time until the new bad boy stepped onto the market, ready to take over.Read more
MSI N550GTX-Ti Cyclone OC Video Card Review
Hardware Secrets posted MSI N550GTX-Ti Cyclone OC Video Card Review
The GeForce GTX 550 Ti is the latest addition to the GeForce GTX 500 series from NVIDIA, coming with a nice USD 150 suggested price, putting it between the GeForce GTS 450 and the GeForce GTX 460 768 MB. The MSI N550GTX-Ti Cyclone OC comes with a custom GPU cooler and factory-overclocking, costing only USD 5 above the reference model. Let's check it out.Read more
Antec Twelve Hundred v3 Review
XSReviews has a new review of the Antec Twelve Hundred v3 case.
While we may have reviewed many Antec cases before, do you think I'm going to turn down the chance to review some revamped versions of their entire performance one line? Exactly.Read more
Today I spent my 9-5 taking pictures and testing the Antec 1200, the big boy of the bunch. This is the v3 that comes with a USB 3.0 connector and an SSD drive slot. Let's see how it does in the contemporary arena.
MSI N550GTX-Ti Cyclone-II OC Video Card Review
Benchmark Reviews posted a review on the MSI N550GTX-Ti Cyclone-II OC Video Card
NVIDIA have completely blown away their previous generation GPU's with the introduction of the GTX 5xx line up and now it is the turn of the GTX550-Ti to show the world what it is made of. Rumours of the specifications suggesting the GTX550-Ti is just an overclocked GTS 450 have been around for a while now but all the details have not quite been correct. The MSI N550GTX-Ti Cyclone II OC video card looks a whole lot like its predecessor but as we have seen with the previous 5xx video cards the revised GF11x GPU easily out performs its counterpart. Also working in the favor of the GTX550-Ti is the 192-bit wide memory interface giving MSI N550GTX-Ti Cyclone II OC video card 103.2GB/s memory bandwidth, which is closer to the GTX460 than the GTS450. Price wise the GTX550-Ti will fit in just nicely between the GTX460 and GTS450 and also the Radeon HD5570, so let's find out where it fits performance wise. Benchmark Reviews aims to provide you with an unbiased review of the MSI N550GTS-Ti Cyclone II OC and report back our findings, keeping you informed on the latest technologies available on the market today.Read more
Gainward GeForce GTX 550 Ti 1GB Golden Sample Video Card Review
TweakTown posted a review on the Gainward GeForce GTX 550 Ti 1GB Golden Sample Video Card
Already impressed with what the GTX 550 Ti can do after looking at the MSI Cyclone II edition, it's now time to see what Gainward brings to the table with its highly popular Golden Sample series. This is a series that's been popular for years and in recent times we've seen them come out hard and fast offering strong cooling solutions, but more importantly fantastic out of the box overclocks that have resulted in excellent performance gains over other models.Read more
When Gainward has chosen to throw the OC tag on a model, especially the Golden Sample one, we know it means that the overclock is going to be strong verses other companies who have thrown the OC tag on and then offered us a small 10MHz core increase. Gainward today are offering us a core clock that gets into the quadruple digits and it will be interesting to see what that does for performance.
KFA2 Galaxy GTX 550 Ti LTD OC WHITE review
The Guru of 3D posted a review on the KFA2 Galaxy GTX 550 Ti LTD OC WHITE
In this review we'll have a peek at the warmongers from KFA2 (Galaxy), they unleash this cute little beastly looking GTX 550 Ti LTD OC White edition graphics card. And to make it even more special, they slapped all components on a sexy white PCB again.Read more
Armed with that atypical looking cooler you'll learn that this product makes no compromises, you will not hear it, it will not run hot and it even comes factory clocked at a full GHz, quite amazing as GPUs seem to slowly pass that weird 1 GHz threshold.
Acer Aspire TimeLineX 4820-TG-6847 Review
TechReviewSource.com posted a review on the Acer Aspire TimeLineX 4820-TG-6847
The Acer Aspire TimelineX AS4820TG-6847 has really good performance thanks to its Intel Core i5 CPU and AMD's Radeon HD graphics. It's a really great multimedia machine, but the quality of the 14-inch display left a little disappointed. However, the 640GB hard drive and 4GB of memory make up for it.Read more
