Now that the AMD 890GX chipset is out we are seeing all of the manufacturers getting their boards into play. This is to be expected as the 890GX is a great chipset. But as with everything, each manufacturer will have its own method of implementation. Yes, the chipset is the same and the performance is going to be similar, but there are going to be very different feature sets.GIGABYTE GA-890GPA-UD3H (AMD 890GX) Motherboard Review

This is the GA-890GPA-UD3H; it features what GIGABYTE likes to call their 333 onboard acceleration. This is the combination of SATA 3.0, USB 3.0 and Power 3X. Radeons HD 5770: A Hawk Versus Arctic Ice Review
InsideHW.com has compared two ATI Radeon HD 5770 graphics cards: MSI Hawk and PowerColor Arctic Ice models
The Radeon HD 5770 is currently praised as a very good choice in the upper middle class of GPUs, since it provides very good performance in resolutions typical for 20” and 22” monitors at a decent price, which is likely to become the optimal choice for gamers today. We rejoiced to see so many manufacturers coming out with their own models so fast, shunning the referent ATI design in order to create a bit pricier, but faster graphics card to start with, a gain which can be increased even further by overclocking, courtesy of high-quality cooling systems implemented by various manufacturers. We’ve received two very interesting models whose overclock range took us by surprise, both cards sporting great looks and an attractive accompanying bundle…Radeons HD 5770: A Hawk Versus Arctic Ice Review
MSI 890GXM-G65 AMD Motherboard Review
OCIA.net has posted their review of the MSI 890GXM-G65 AMD Motherboard.
Although AMD's latest chipset the 890GX, codename RS880D, is very similar to last year's 785G - RS880, the most striking improvement is the addition of a new southbridge, the SB850. Supporting USB 3.0 and SATA 3.0, the SB850 opens up much needed additional bandwidth for faster external accessories and solid state drives. While many 890GX boards utilize a full size ATX format, MSI's initial offering is the 890GXM-G65, a microATX style. The 890GX offers integrated graphics, using the RV620 graphics core, which supports DirectX 10.1, Shader Model 4.1 and a host of video decoding and acceleration formats. CrossFire is supported but the 16 available lanes must be split into a dual 8X configuration. Hybrid CrossFire is also available, allowing use of a HD5450 discrete video card to be paired with the onboard for up to a 25% improvement in gaming performance.MSI 890GXM-G65 AMD Motherboard Review

CoolIT Systems ECO A.L.C. CPU Cooler Review
TweakTown posted a review on the CoolIT Systems ECO A.L.C. CPU Cooler
The people at CoolIT took notice and went back to the drawing board to produce not only a more widely compatible cooling solution, but to try to make this product as affordable as possible. Things like mounting of both the heat exchanger and how to mount the radiator all came into play. Alongside the compatibility there was also efficiency and noise levels that were major factors that needed to be solved before the release of their new product. Just to show where the company stands on the quality of their product, they sent samples around for the media to test. Reports came in about a possible mounting issue and CoolIT recalled them all, redesigned the mounting and resent the retail ready versions for another round of our labs abuse.CoolIT Systems ECO A.L.C. CPU Cooler Review
With the engineering of their new product covered, let’s get down to what we are here for. The time has come to get out the camera and get some images of CoolIT’s new ECO A.L.C. all-in-one CPU water cooling solution. Then we can see if the claims made up to this point ring true and that this is a solution that can make most of the popular air cooling solutions cry in shame while being at a similar price point.
