MSI Wind12 U230 Netbook Review
TestFreaks posted a review on the MSI Wind12 U230 Netbook
Today for review I've got the MSI Wind12 U230 netbook, it's called a netbook but it really isn't it could really be considered an ultra-portable notebook as it does have an AMD Athlon Neo X2 CPU in it, along with ATI HD 3200 Graphics. It's much more powerful than the netbooks we've become accustomed to, but the price is a little bit more than other netbooks, but not as much as you might expect. In my time with the Wind12 I've come to like it quite a bit, it has a nice large keyboard that's makes typing easy and enjoyable. The dual core CPU does allow you to do many things at once without the system slowing down, as far as graphics, it does do HD content and it has an HDMI port as well, but don't expect to be playing games on high settings. So continue on to learn more about it and see how it compares to three Atom based netbooks I've got on hand..MSI Wind12 U230 Netbook Review
Asus Radeon EAH 5870 1GB Video Card Review
ITShootOut.com have just reviewed the Asus Radeon EAH 5870 1GB Video Card
Aside from cost and availability there is little to differentiate one Radeon 5870 from another. They all use the same Batmobile-inspired cooler; offer almost the same bundle and identical clock speeds. Asus is aiming to change that by offering a feature unique to its own brand of cards – the ability to tweak the GPU voltage without a need for hardware modification. Today we are going to be evaluating the card’s overall capabilities and testing to see just how much of an advantage this unique “Voltage Tweak” feature provides when overclocking.Asus Radeon EAH 5870 1GB Video Card Review

InsideHW.com has reviewed ASUS Eee PC 1008P Karim Rashid Collection netbook
The most basic question we have in mind before testing any new notebook is the expected performance. However, in the case of ASUS Eee PC 1008P Seashell Karim Rashid Collection netbook, the question was entirely different - could it really be as beautiful as we thought it was when we glanced at the pictures? Only a few seconds after the netbook had been unwrapped sufficed for most to agree that they were looking at the best looking netbook ever…ASUS Eee PC 1008P Karim Rashid Collection: A Stylish Netbook Review
Intel DP55WB "Whitesburg" Motherboard Review
iXBT Labs posted a review on the Intel DP55WB "Whitesburg" Motherboard
The only question Whitesburg may start is, "Why is it based on P55 and not H55?" Blame those who decided on the gradual rollout of the LGA1156 platform. As a result of which, P55 PCH was the only available chipset for the first six months. So, if Intel DP55WB remains one of the cheapest in the market, its life cycle will be long. If similar products based on H55 will be cheaper, then there will be no sense in buying this motherboard.Intel DP55WB "Whitesburg" Motherboard Review
MSI 890GXM-G65 Motherboard & AMD 890GX Chipset
HCW has reviewed the newest chipset from AMD 890GX as well as one of the first mATX motherboards to be equipped with it
AMD intends this to be a replacement for the 790GX chipset, but in more ways than one it is more similar to the 785G. That is a good thing of course, since the 785G sports solid performance and Blu-Ray hardware decoding.MSI 890GXM-G65 Motherboard & AMD 890GX Chipset
They added a new Southbridge SB850 to replace the somew hat aging SB7=D70. It sports some new features such as SATA 6Gbps connectivity, but is conspicuously missing native USB 3.0 support.
Does the tiny MSI 890GXM-G65 have what it takes to justify its relatively high asking price compared to 785G boards?

Gigabyte announced their new 333 lineup end of November 2009. At the 333 Event Show, however there was no word on the AMD CPU supporting motherboards. Focus was mainly on P55 and X58 series. Getting a speedy introduction to the wonders and miracles of AMD overclocking via HWBOT Country Cup I was eager to review one of Gigabyte's latest high end offering, the 790FXTA-UD5. The A in the name reflects it is a souped up 333 version of the previous model 790FXT-UD5.Gigabyte 790FXTA-UD5 Motherboard Review

Testing of the Silent 1156 reveals that it provides a reduction in temperatures when compared to the stock Intel cooling solution by 8 degrees Celsius at stock speeds and 12 degrees with a modest overclock. When compared to the rest of the field, it is not the highest performer, but does excel at doing its job with a low noise signature.Thermaltake Silent 1156 Review
