Synology DiskStation DS411slim Review
Business Computing World published a review of the Synology DiskStation DS411slim

Although limited by disk specification, the DS411slim is still quicker than a lot of the competition, even those capable of taking faster 3.5-inch disks. Moreover, in terms of functionality the diminutive Synology appliance is every bit as capable as other DiskStations and more than a match for similar storage appliances from other vendors. Factor in the add-on applications and what you have is a lot more than just another NAS box, making the DS411slim a good solution for the small business looking to move up from peer-to-peer networking without the cost or complexity of a more traditional server.

Super Flower Golden King 550W Power Supply Review
TweakTown posted a review on the Super Flower Golden King 550W Power Supply

Most of the time we focus on enthusiast and gaming power supplies here at TweakTown. Occasionally, when a product warrants it, we will cover other power supplies as well. The unit we are taking a look at from Super Flower today is one of those units that warrants taking a good look at. It is the Super Flower Golden King SF-550P14PE 550W power supply. After taking a look at the Super Flower Golden Green 800W PSU last month, we were quite interested in seeing what else they had to offer, so we had them send one over.

At this point you're probably wondering just what is so special about a 550W power supply. Well, ladies and gentlemen, this is one of the first 80Plus Platinum power supplies to come to market. You heard that right, Platinum efficiency. Up until now, the 80Plus Platinum logo has just been a myth that nobody has really seen it. For those unfamiliar with the certification, 80Plus Platinum certification requires that the power supply be able to achieve 90%, 92%, and 89% efficiency at 20%, 50%, and 100% loads respectively.

Arctic Freezer 13 Pro Review

Today in the KitGuru lab we have the Freezer 13 Pro which is the latest CPU cooler offered by Arctic. The Freezer 13 Pro features their Cross-Blow cooling technique and claims to have the maximum cooling capacity of 300 watts. That kind of cooling ability should be able to tame pretty much any CPU currently available. With that in mind we have high hopes that this solution on test today will really deliver the goods.

Roccat Kave Headset Review
eTeknix.com posted a review on the Roccat Kave Headset

The Roccat Kave is an interesting headset and it doesn’t quite follow convention. It is primarily a lot larger than others currently on the market. There is however a good reason for this which we will touch on further through the review.
This is one of these devices that looks really good on paper but it is rare that the device can achieve this. For instance this device boasts full 5.1 surround sound which of course even includes a central speaker which sounds rather weird for something that surrounds the side of your ears as the central speaker would normally be directly in front of you on top of the television or similar.
Roccat are an up and coming company that have recently been producing various products including mice and headsets.

Nikon Coolpix Digital Camera Battery and Travel Charger from Battery Heads
TestFreaks posted a review on the Nikon Coolpix Digital Camera Battery and Travel Charger from Battery Heads

I’m sure you own a digital camera, pretty much everyone does these days right? Depending on the type of camera you have it might not use standard batteries, and that can be a hassle as you don’t readily have access to a spare. I take a lot of pictures and go through batteries quickly but I haven’t got the chance yet to get a spare battery from my Nikon Coolpix. Recently I was contacted by a company called BatteryHeads.com and they asked me to review one of their brand of batteries under the brand name TechFuel, and I said sure. They were also kind enough to send me along a travel charger with it. So read on for a quick review of what I received.

NZXT H2 Review
Vortez posted a review on the NZXT H2 case

It was at CES 2011 at the start of the year that the product we are looking at today was first unveiled. The H2 is a case that slots into NZXT's "Classic" series and is regarded as the "Silent Midtower" due to the fact that there are thick side panels which feature foam underlay. It differentiates itself from the gaudy gamer styled cases currently swarming the market, by offering elegance and a minimalistic approach to styling. Fans within H2 can be controlled through 3 stages giving the user complete control over audio levels emitted from the chassis. With much more to talk about, lets begin our analysis of the new NZXT H2 that launches today.

NZXT Classic Series H2 Silent PC Case Review
Legit Reviews posted a review on the NZXT Classic Series H2 Silent PC Case

Today we are looking at the newest 'Classic Series' midtower offering form NZXT, the H2 Silent case. The H2 has a lot of features like sound dampening material, external hot swap bay, whole case fan control, and a few other features. Join us as we look over what this new sub $100 offering from NZXT has to offer and you might just be surprised!

The H2 from NZXT is a very nice little case. NZXT says that the H2 will be available early April and carry an MSRP of $99.99. That price range is loaded with cases, but most are geared to gamers that want a little flash to their case. The H2, to me, is more geared towards someone building a system for an area where quiet is key. With the right hardware inside the H2 think you would be hard pressed to know it is on, unless your head is right next to the case side...

Lenovo IdeaPad U260 12.5-inch Laptop Review
ThinkComputers.org posted a review on the Lenovo IdeaPad U260 12.5-inch Laptop

It is not often that I look at a laptop and say wow that looks beautiful and then pick it up and fall in love with it even more. I think the only time that has really happened was with a Macbook Air, but I’m not even a Mac user. Lenovo is not a company you really think of when it comes to beautifully designed laptops, they make great laptops no doubt, but most of them are not that eye catching. Today we are going to be taking a look at the Lenovo IdeaPad U260 12.5-inch laptop, which is one of sleekest laptops I’ve ever seen and comes packed with an Intel Core i5 processor and 4GB of memory. Is the U260 all looks or will it really perform?

HIS Radeon HD 6990 4GB and HD 6970 2GB Video Cards in CrossFireX
TweakTown posted a review on the HIS Radeon HD 6990 4GB and HD 6970 2GB Video Cards in CrossFireX

I was really looking forward to testing this setup because I think it's something that's very plausible for a lot of people who have got the money to spend. Jump back a few months and we thought we'd see the HD 6990 4GB launch towards the end of last year; December was the date getting thrown around. Instead, what happened was the HD 6970 which we thought would launch in November launched in December and the HD 6990 became a bit of a quiet card. We knew it existed, we knew it was coming, but a month turned into a much longer wait. So if you're looking for a new video card to get some holiday gaming in, you figure you'll just go down the HD 6970 path and maybe later look at the dual GPU option that AMD offer.

Initially you might have had intentions of selling off your HD 6970 and picking up a HD 6990 in its place, but what about if you bought a HD 6990 and threw that into the mix with your HD 6970? What kind of performance can this triple GPU setup offer you? - Well, that's exactly what we intend to find out. Is it worth holding onto that HD 6970 and throwing in a HD 6990 into the mix? - Priced at a similar level to the GTX 580 SLI setup, it'll indeed be interesting to see the kind of performance we get out of the setup. What will also be interesting is to see the kind of performance we get when compared to the HD 6990 4GB CrossFireX setup that makes use of four GPUs.

The SilverStone ST45SF is a good SFX form factor power supply. It has many of the features that you would expect from larger ATX enthusiast PSUs like a painted chassis and sleeved cables. Mach Xtreme Technology MX-GX 16GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive Review
HardwareHeaven.com posted a review on the Mach Xtreme Technology MX-GX 16GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive

Since this reviewer started testing components there has been little change in the way we connect external storage devices. USB, primarily 2.0 has been the main connection method with some manufacturers dabbling with eSATA, Firewire and even LAN connectors with varying success. Finally though it looks like we will be moving on from the 30MB/s cap of USB 2.0 as pretty much every device from low cost net tops to high end motherboards now come through our labs with USB 3.0 connectivity.
