ASUS Radeon HD 3870 X2 Graphics Card Review
TweakTown posted a review on the ASUS Radeon HD 3870 X2 Graphics Card

We like the HD 3870 X2; generally speaking it gets good gains at high resolutions in most applications we test. The single PCB design is leaps and bounds ahead of the original dual GPU offering from NVIDIA under the 7900 naming scheme. We’ve seen pictures of the HD 3870 X2 from ASUS before, but now it’s our chance to get down and dirty with it to see if it’s worth spending the extra money the ASUS cards generally carry with them.

The ASUS bundles on a whole are pretty good and give you everything you would expect out of a high-end card. You do pay a premium for ASUS cards which give you little extras like the CD Wallet and a more recent game.

Crucial Ballistix Tracer Red DDR2 4GB PC2-6400 Review
ASE Labs posted a review on the Crucial Ballistix Tracer Red 4GB PC2-6400 memory

Remember that the Tracer series from Crucial is very mature. I even reviewed the original set of black modules last year. These new red modules mark a trend in computing that Crucial is good to follow. The fact of the matter is that people like personalization. I'm guilty of that myself. I know that these modules are hardly better than the normal Ballistix breed, but the fact that it is red and has lights adds something of value to people. Red is my favorite color and I would naturally gravitate to these in a computer I would build.

bgears b-Envi Gaming/HTPC Enclosure Review
Virtual-Hideout posted bgears b-Envi Gaming/HTPC Enclosure Review

When I first looked at the b-Envi enclosure, I thought the front panel controls were either hidden or on the side of the bezel. Boy, was I surprised when I flipped through the manual and found out they were touch sensitive; I couldn't wait to try them out. The buttons work great, and there is even a little beep every time you push them.

Rosewill RX81-MP External USB/eSATA 3.5 Review
OCC has published a new review of the Rosewill RX81-MP External USB/eSATA 3.5

One thing I would like to point out, is that if you use the eSATA connection, you may have to alter the drive a bit. During testing I could not get the computer to recognize the drive in the BIOS. I tried for hours until something told me to remove the back port shield from the enclosure because it didn't look like the eSATA cable was going all the way in. As soon as I did this it worked fine. On the RX81-MP enclosure sent to me for testing, the back plate was too thick to allow the cable to go all the way in, and the hole was not big enough to allow it to pass. I tried several eSATA cables and neither worked with the back plate on.

Cooler Master Aquagate Max Review
I4U NEWS reviews the new Cooler Master Aquagate Max.

Today we are checking out one of the first NVIDIA ESA certified liquid cooling systems on the market. The system is called the Cooler Master Aquagate Max.

The only really bad part about this system is that Cooler Master uses simple screw on compression fittings. That means if you ever need to remove the system to change cases you will have to drain the fluid. A few bucks worth of quick connect fittings like Corsair uses in its Nautilus system would have made the Cooler Master Aquagate Max much more user friendly in that respect.

Diamond Viper Fin DDR3 PC14400 2 x 1 GB Review
OCC has published a new review of the Diamond Viper Fin DDR3 PC14400 2 x 1 GB

When it came time to overclock the Viper Fin modules, I had to wonder how much was left on such a high speed rated module. The answer was not what I was looking for but was kind of expecting. I topped out the modules at 1884MHz (942MHz), or 84MHz (42MHz) over the baseline rated speeds. Not a bad increase by any means, but I had thoughts of 1000MHz running through my skull. Loosening the timings to 9-9-9-24 or increasing voltage beyond 2.1volts did not help at this point. The modules were air cooled and felt similar to the ambient air temperatures, so heat was not a factor during the testing. One unexpected side effect was the ability to tighten the timings up at the max overclock. Sweet! It just took a little more voltage to get there.

ASUS M3A32-MVP Deluxe WiFi-AP motherboard review
Elite Bastards posted a review on the ASUS M3A32-MVP Deluxe WiFi-AP motherboard

As per most new chipsets these days, PCI Express 2.0 support is present and correct, with 790FX offering up to forty-two PCI Express lanes. Thirty-two of these lanes are reserved for graphics boards, with 790FX capable of supporting up to four electrical PCI Express slots for ATI's latest quad-GPU CrossFireX technology if required - Naturally, with only 32 lanes set aside for such a configuration, each PCI Express 16x slot will only be granted eight lanes of bandwidth, although this should still be more than enough for the majority of operations (especially given the doubling of bandwidth in PCI Express 2.0 over the 1.1 standard). This leaves another six PCI Express lanes for PCI Express 1x slots, with the final four lanes set aside to connect the 790FX northbridge with a southbridge.

Ironkey Personal Secure Flash Drive Review
Everything USB posted Ironkey Personal Secure Flash Drive Review

Without a doubt, flash drives are the largest security risk that most organizations and users have faced since the introduction writeable CDs. They can be used on virtually any PC, are small enough to go undetected by anyone, and now are large enough to carry more than four times what you can fit on a DVD. Couple this with a clumsy employee and you have a recipe to make the evening CNN blurb of how 60,000 people facing identity theft.

Security is the only way to prevent your information being accessed by someone else on your flash drive, whether it be personal data or business related. We've seen some forms of this with these flash drives, but even those can be circumvented with enough effort. The only way to ensure that your data is safe is to implement hardware encryption with password protection AND tamper-resistance. That's exactly what the guys over at IronKey have done, and they've taken it to the next level by placing a
