In the last PSU review we tested the middle member of the BITWIN series. Now it’s high time for the smallest to confront our vicious load tester. Besides the BW-B430JL we will also present to you detailed information regarding the Multi Link feature, as we are going to link two BITWINs together and gather interesting data (e.g. efficiency at normal and low loads).

Thermalright Shaman VGA Cooler Review
Tweaknews posted a review on the Thermalright Shaman VGA Cooler

Thermalright has continued their success with the Shaman. This oversized aftermarket cooler has taken the performance charts by storm and easily claimed the top spot in our VGA testing and it is evident that Thermalright's Shaman is aimed directly at power hungry that produce equal amounts of heat.

Corsair SP2500 speakers review
The Guru of 3D posted a review on the Corsair SP2500 speakers

Armed with a phat sub, two satellite speakers and a very dandy LCD control DSP unit we'll today have a look at that Corsair Gaming Audio SP2500 speaker kit. It definitely surprised us away in terms of audio quality.

It is an easy to use and easy to setup kit. The control pod / DSP is the cherry on top of the cake. The speaker audio quality really is extremely good with much clarity, great mid tones and a deep, although not perfect bass provided by the subwoofer. In pale comparison to you average desktop speaker kit, this set is a mile and half away in terms of better quality and sheer capacity.

XFX HD6950 1GB Overclocked Edition Review
OCC has published a review on the XFX HD6950 1GB Overclocked Edition

Everything about this card is appealing - we see a visible and statistically significant increase in performance in the XXX Edition over the standard XFX HD 6950. The direct contact heatpipes do a good job at keeping the card cool under typical situations, however it becomes obvious that the performance of the cooler falls apart under a heavy heat load. This heavy heat load is from putting a huge overclock on the card and applying the extra voltage to the GPU. We see this in other "DirectCU" coolers, and they tend to fall apart in this same way.

Swiftech Polaris 120 High Performance CPU Cooler Review
TweakTown posted a review on the Swiftech Polaris 120 High Performance CPU Cooler

It looks like a few things have changed over at Swiftech since the last time I visited their site and had the pleasure of testing, and still using to this day, the H20-320 kit they introduced back in November of last year. A couple of weeks ago I started getting correspondence of this new cooler in the works from Swiftech, and to my first surprise, its an air cooler. Now Im not positive you all remember the MCX series of air coolers from a few years ago. While the idea was very different, and the thinking was outside of the box in its design, the cooler had limited success, and I dont remember it being highly recommended as were the other leaders in that day of air cooling.

Then came the second surprise! When I saw the cooler design I got a big grin on my face. There are quite a few tricks implemented in this design that I have seen make successful coolers before. To be honest, as I look at this cooler I am reminded of the Thermolab BARAM for the compact nature of the fin arrangement. Then again, I am reminded of coolers like the XtremeGear HP-1216 or SilenX variation of the same design. To say this new cooler “copies” any of those is a bit of a stretch, but I can see the influence of many coolers of days gone by in this design, but that wasnt good enough for Swiftech.

Sandy Bridge Mobile Performance Review
PC Perspective posted a review on the Sandy Bridge Mobile Performance

In desktops, concerns such as power efficiency are important, but usually aren’t potential deal-breakers. In laptops, the processor has a significant impact on the design of the laptop. There is a broad spectrum of performance, power efficiency and thermal efficiency, and these variables make the difference between a 1” thick ultraportable and a bulky 1.5” thick desktop replacement.

The new Aivia M8600 continues this tradition by offering a uniquely designed mouse which has the ability to be used in both wired and wireless modes for under $100. However, Gigabyte has taken some risky decisions here so it will be interesting to see whether they all turn out for the best.

Xigmatek Durin D982 Review
Hi Tech Legion posted a review on the Xigmatek Durin D982

Weighing in at only 200gr, the Xigmatek Durin D982 is certainly no heavyweight, but small size certainly doesn't stop the Durin from packing a punch. The Xigmatek Durin D982 is a low profile Heat Pipe Direct Touch CPU cooler, which is a very unusual combination.
With two 8mm pipes directly touching the CPU and running through a 90mm aluminum fin array, the Durin D982 is capable of heat dissipation typically reserved for larger coolers.

Intel 510 Series 120GB SSD Review
KitGuru posted a review on the Intel 510 Series 120GB SSD

While Intel will always be known for their range of consumer and business oriented processor designs, their Solid State Drives proved to be extremely popular among the enthusiast audience, selling well across the range of sizes. The X25-M in particular is still a huge seller for the company, especially with the transition to 34nm.

In the efforts to remain competitive, they have just launched their new range of Solid State units, with SATA 6 Gbps connectivity and a new controller to deliver the ‘next generation’ levels of performance the enthusiast user now demands. They have released the Intel SSD 510 series in both 120GB and 250GB sizes.

The 250GB model boasts speeds of up to 500 MB/s sequential read, and 315 MB/s sequential write. While we could have reviewed this model, at £445 it will prove to be too expensive for many potential customers. The 120GB is aimed at a more wallet friendly £220.

Inno3D GTX560 Ti 1GB OC Review
Vortez posted a review on the Inno3D GTX560 Ti 1GB OC

Some may remember Nvidia first using "Ti" on the GeForce 2 cards until its demise on their 4th generations of graphics cards. Representing Titanium, the cards boasting the moniker were renowned to be popular, hence Nvidia bringing the name back. The GTX560 is set to succeed the GTX460 but not replace it based on their differing price points. At $249/£200, it is meant to fit in between AMD’s HD6870 and HD6950. Another benefit of the GTX560 over the GTX460 is the lack of confusion regarding its memory framebuffer at a set 1GB and more importantly, its clock speeds are 822MHz on the core and 4000MHz on the memory, a welcomed boost to consumers. Another impressive feat has been Nvidia’s ability to fit the card’s improved performance in a similar power envelope as the GTX460. Its TDP is a mere 10W higher than the latter, highlighting the GTX560’s efficiency. This particular card by Inno3D has been overclocked to its limit out of the box, testament to the brand’s confidence in the card. Set at 950/4300MHz, it is one of the highest clocked GTX560s on the market and Inno3D have stuck to the reference cooler for its purposes.
