Virtual Hideout posted a review on the Crucial Ballistix 2x1GB PC3-12800 Memory Kit

Crucial has been all over the market as of late with new capacity Flash Cards, USB drives, Solid State Drives, and especially Performance DRAM. I've been thoroughly testing and experimenting with their latest Ballistix DDR3 PC3-12800 2GB Dual Channel Kit, or DDR3 1600MHz memory. And yes, this kit does scream at 1600MHz. Read on and see.

Windows Vista Service Pack 1 Review
InsideHW.com has posted an article about Windows Vista Service Pack 1.

A little more than a year ago, Windows Vista was finally brought to daylight in its final, official form. As XP was getting obsolete already (it had spent 5 years on the market as the dominating OS), a quick transition to the new operating system was expected. Yet besides the strong marketing campaign and hype, it simply never happened like that. Alongside the new fancy interface and DirectX 10 support, Vista brought nothing new in the eyes of the ordinary user. A load of bugs, unacceptably high hardware requirements and a lot of unsupported hardware/software (the extreme example of this being Microsoft's own Fingerprint Reader, which claims Vista support on the packaging, but to this day has no 64-bit Vista drivers whatsoever) altogether made users frown at the option of migrating to Vista. With time, the situation improved, but not substantially, so Microsoft had to speed things up a little and introduce the first service pack for Vista, which should either remove or rectify the noticed problems to a certain extent.

NVIDIA GeForce 9800GTX in Tri SLI Tested
TweakTown tested the NVIDIA GeForce 9800GTX in Tri SLI

Well here I am again finding myself locked in the iBuyPower bunker with more graphics cards than I can poke a stick at. Alongside three 9800 GTX graphics cards we also have two 9800 GX2s all ready to go into the funky water cooled system that we’ve been provided with today.

With Tri SLI drivers in hand, more benchmarks than we had last time and some Dominos Pizza and Dickens Energy Cider, we’re ready to get stuck into the wonderful world of expensive VGA setups which is overkill for most of us, but still wanted oh so badly.

Today for review I've got the Trendnet TK-408K 4-Port PS/2 KVM Switch Kit w/Audio and it's a basic KVM switch that works exactly as it should. I encountered no problems with it in the few months that I've used it, response time is excellent when switching between systems and it even supports high resolutions as well.

XFX 780i SLI Motherboard Review
InsideHW.com has posted an article about XGX 780i SLI motherboard.

After ASUS introduced its premiere motherboard, we received the XFX vision of what a nForce 780i chipset-based motherboard should look like. Of course, the packaging is top-notch, just like earlier XFX models we had tested, and besides the motherboard, inside you will find an extra fan to keep the chipset cool, six black SATA cables, three SATA power cables, a rounded black IDE cable, manual, driver disc, a USB bracket and SLI bridges (an ordinary one and a three-way one).

SilverStone KL02B-W Case Review
Overclockers Online has posted a new review on the SilverStone KL02B-W Case

With only a few warts, the positives outweigh the negatives. I love the look and solid feel of the case and the cooling performance is actually quite good and silent. The quick disconnect fan is a very innovative idea that I wouldn't mind seeing used in other cases. The tool less feature in the case, 5.25" bays, are really easy to use and hold the hardware solidly in place. While a purely personal opinion, I think the case has a clean and elegant look to it that would fit in any office or room. In the end Silverstone has a solid case, but could use a boost in a few areas.

PowerColor HD 3450 Review
OCC has published a new review of the PowerColor HD 3450

The HD3450 is designed as a next generation card supporting all of the newest techlologies and that it does well. This card is not designed for the gaming market and you will not be playing games at those ultra high graphics, but it is great for movie playback and running Vista's features. The HD3450 has a low profile design which makes it ideal for home theater PCs, but keep in mind the heatsink is big and will take up part of the expansion slot below it, keeping you from placing a card in it. The upside to the size of the heatsink is that it is a passive solution, something that makes the most sense for use in an HTPC case.

Mushkin Redline XP2-8000 4GB Memory Kit Review
HardwareLogic posted a review on the Mushkin Redline XP2-8000 4GB Memory Kit

Redline. A term coined from pushing a car to it's breaking point, where the tachometer strains all the way over to the red in an effort to warn it's careless driver: TOO FAST! But speed is something we covet with our rigs, and Mushkin has aptly named it's new high performance RAM for that breaking point we so desperately try to exceed. But the big question is how well does this kit push it to the limit? Will the Redline series be fit for the Autobahn of the overclocking arena, or is back to puttering down Main Street for Mushkin? Read on as we try to break barriers and avoid speeding tickets with the Redline 4GB kit!
