HIS Radeon HD 6850 IceQ X Turbo 1GB Video Card Review
Legit Reviews posted a review on the HIS Radeon HD 6850 IceQ X Turbo 1GB Video Card

If you want to play the top DX11 game these days a high-end card is a must. The HIS Radeon HD 6850 Turbo with IceQ X cooling is a really nice card at a really reasonable price. This card should keep up with the other cards in its class in the performance benchmarks, but stay way cooler than most of them since it uses an aftermarket GPU cooler. We put it to the test against several other AMD Radeon HD 6850 video cards to see which comes out on top!

Most of the AMD Radeon HD 6850 graphics cards that I have looked at recently have been based on the reference design of the card and tended to produce a bit of heat. The HIS Radeon HD 6850 Turbo (H685QNT1GD) is actually built on a shorter length PCB coupled with the IceQ cooler to try and combat heat and give the card a killer look. With a stock 820MHz GPU clock speed 1GB of GDDR5 memory clocked at 4400MHz, the HIS Radeon HD 6850 Turbo is aimed squarely at the gaming market, and rightfully so because we as gamers demand awesome graphics, and we are only going to go out and spend our money on a high end card that we know is a proven winner and will let us squeeze every last frame rate we need and deserve out of a video card...

Asus K53E dual-core Sandy Bridge notebook Review
The Tech Report posted a review on the Asus K53E dual-core Sandy Bridge notebook

We've already put a quad-core Sandy Bridge notebook through the paces, but how does a system with a dual-core CPU based on the same architecture perform? Does it give previous-gen Core 2010 chips a run for their money, and perhaps more importantly, does it offer better battery life?

OCZ Vertex2 60GB SATAII Solid State Drive Review
eTeknix.com posted a review on the OCZ Vertex2 60GB SATAII Solid State Drive

OCZ have gone through lots of changes as of late including the main aspect of the company being changed from a mass memory manufacturer to a switch of product focus in the SSD market. This has given OCZ the chance to put all of their efforts into SSDs which until now have been a majorly overpriced component of a computer system.

As of late, more manufacturers have been releasing SSDs which has brought the price down whilst performance still move forward. OCZ are one of the forefront manufacturer’s when it comes to performance based products and today a look at the Vertex 2 60GB SSD from OCZ should see if it carries on with that status.

MSI N550GTX-Ti Cyclone II 1GB5 OC Video Card Review
Futurelooks checks out MSI's version of the GTX 550 Ti and discovers some surprises ...

Everyone loves the way a high-end graphics card plays games, destroys benchmarks, and makes you the envy of every LAN party. While we appreciate top end hardware most of us are only willing to pay bottom dollar to play the hottest games. That’s why nVidia has been trying to hard to win over gamers at the $200 US sweet spot. First they gave us the GTX 460. Now they’ve got a new GPU at around $150 US that uses less power while giving you decent performance. They call it the GTX 550 Ti and today we’ll be looking at the MSI version known as the N550GTX-Ti Cyclone II 1GB5 OC.

MSI P67A-GD80 Socket 1155 Motherboard Review
OCIA.net has posted their review of the MSI P67A-GD80 Socket 1155 Motherboard

Intel's Sandy Bridge platform got off to a strong start at the 2011 CES earlier this year before an issue with the P67 chipset sidelined motherboard production for several weeks. The chipset design error wasn't catastrophic by any means and likely wouldn't cause any issues for years to come, but it certainly needed to be corrected regardless. Board manufacturers worked with Intel to replace "bad" boards with those featuring the revised B3 chipset and business is pretty much back to normal at this point.

J&W MINIX 890GX-USB3 Mini-ITX (AMD 890GX) Motherboard Review
TweakTown posted a review on the J&W MINIX 890GX-USB3 Mini-ITX (AMD 890GX) Motherboard

J&W is a company that I personally had never heard of before this review. But after taking some time to look over their site and what they have to offer, it is certainly one that I will have in my head for some time to come. We had the chance to take a look at a very interesting offer from J&W. It is a Mini-ITX motherboard built around the AMD 890GX chipset, complete with four SATA 3.0 ports, two USB 3.0 and three network interfaces. There is an n-spec wireless card and two GBe LAN ports. This pint sized product also is capable of supporting up to a 95 Watt AMD CPU.

But, what happens if you drop a Phenom II X6 1100T into this board? We take the time to see if it can take it, or if the MINIX 890GX-USB3 will fold under the pressure. So please keep the fire extinguisher handy and remember kids, don't try this at home - it will void your warranty.

TechwareLabs posted a review on the Intel Core i5-2300 CPU/Processor

When it comes to performance, Intel has been the one to beat for quite some time. The Core i series Nehalem CPUs provided a fantastic boost in performance over the Core 2 line. The new Sandy Bridge CPUs look to provide another boost, but is the leap as dramatic? Today we'll be taking a look at the Core i5 2300, which fills the lowest slot in the i5 range for this generation. Let's see just how well this middleweight CPU manages to hold its own.

Rosewill Thor Full Tower Chassis Review
TweakTown posted a review on the Rosewill Thor Full Tower Chassis

Rosewill has delivered me a chassis that really made me think. While I sit here and try to put my finger on where this case design actually came from, it confuses me more and more. What I have been able to deduce is this is basically a HAF 932 that took on a major redesign along with adding things that make me think it resembles other chassis'. Basically, what I see is the basic concept resembles the HAF 932, but has been stretched taller inside by removing the top power supply mount. So what is the benefit to giving the interior the rack treatment? In this instance it opened the chassis to allow for XL-ATX motherboards, added space for another hard drive, and in the back the chassis can support up to 10 expansion cards. Seems all good so far!

What throws me off in the design are two major elements. The left door panel has a cool mesh window that very much resembles what I have seen from IN WIN designs. The only thing making me think against it is that the grommets for the screws are black instead of the IN WIN green I am used to on this design. To be honest, I much prefer the black! The second element that throws me is the plastic front and top. While the front has an innovative trick up its sleeve, the top ventilation resembles what would typically be seen on a Raven design. Then as I am typing this, one of my friends from the UK mentions to me it has a similar OEM to his Xigmatek Utgard; it seems like quite the conglomeration of cases to take the fine points from.
