Print quality isn't too bad either and it's a snap to use, though if you're looking for a machine for your home office you will miss the lack of a built-in fax, optional ADF (Automatic Document Feeder), and even Ethernet.

On the front of the case is where you will find all of the buttons you need to use the case. There is a power button as well as a little red button, which is the button that you press to activate the drive bay cover's motor. That's right, the drive bay cover has a motor on it that flips the cover from the closed position covering the drive bays to an open position that will expose them all. If for some reason you need to open the front cover without using the button, such as when the computer is off and you need to get to a drive you have under there, you are covered. There is a "Rescue" switch that you are able to toggle between automatic and manual which will shut the motor off when engaged in the manual setting.

AMD recently released their AMD 780G mainboard chipset & Athlon X2 4850e processor. A good moment to see what this new chipset can offer. Guru3D took the all new 780G based ECS A780GM-A mainboard. The AMD 780G chipset features integrated DirectX 10 compliant graphics and a wealth of other features. That said, 780G and Athlon X2 4850e performed well.

Especially so when you consider that the CPU retails for only $89 and the CPU with the mainboard will cost around $160. I have been testing a system for a little over a week now with the new 780G chipset and the Athlon X2 4850e. I have to say, I am pretty impressed with the system. Its not the power horse a heavy gamer would want, but for an entry level PC, HTPC or an occasional gamer, its really good. It comes with everything integrated, up-to a HDMI port. While there were whispers of the 8800GS in the background, it was never really one of those cards that got much attention. Everyone was too busy concentrating on the 8800GT and new 8800GTS 512MB card to really pay much attention to it.

ASUS are only one of two companies in Australia who have an 8800GS on the market here. The only other company who chose to take up the card and release it locally was XFX. The card seems to be a bit of a weird model and we’re not too sure where it will sit. The card should sit behind a 8800GT, but the 9600GT also sits just behind it. It’s possible that both cards perform quite similar and companies chose to uptake the 9 series model over the ageing 8800 series.
