Asus U31JG-A1 Review
TechReviewSource.com posted a review on the Asus U31JG-A1 laptop
The Asus U31JG-A1 ultraportable laptop has a lightweight aluminum construction, long-lasting 8 hour battery, and plenty of features, like a backlit keyboard and Bluetooth, that adds icing to the cake. But the U31JG-A1 suffers from a glitchy trackpad a problem that's hard to ignore which keeps it from a higher recommendation.Read more
GIGABYTE G1.Assassin (Intel X58 Express) Gaming Motherboard Review
TweakTown posted a review on the GIGABYTE G1.Assassin (Intel X58 Express) Gaming Motherboard
Something that we have wondered since the introduction of the integrated audio CODEC is; what do you do about gamers? For most people the answer is simple - you buy add-in cards to get the video, audio and networking performance that you want. However, most of the really high end boards are expensive. The costs of getting a great gaming system can be cost prohibitive once you look at what is really needed.Read more
Well, GIGABYTE has an answer and one that we have been waiting on since CES 2011. We recently showed this off to you in a very brief preview. Well, now we have the performance to go along with these images. This board is the G1.Assassin; part of the G1 Killer line-up. When you pick this board up you get an X58 chipset, a Creative labs X-Fi audio card and a Killer NIC built onto the board. You all get this for $529.99 on NewEgg.com which comes in a little less than buying the parts separately (as we will show you a little later).

Acer Aspire 5830T TimelineX: Evolution Through Time
InsideHW.com has reviewed Acer Aspire 5830T notebook
Its been a while since we met the last representative of the new, promising series of Acer notebooks - Timeline. The elegant lines, good performance and recognisable design were accompanied by excellent battery autonomy and a reasonable price, which made these models very attractive. This time around, its another sinking - Acers Aspire 5830T, from the new TimelineX generation. The recognisable ground aluminium lid with a silver Acer logo is present here as well. Besides the fact that pressure on the lid causes no display distortion, the aluminium surface also provides additional ruggedness and strength to the notebook. The sharp lines are usually indicative of business models, but Acer has used a small trick - all edges are rounded or mildly tilted against the surface theyre facing, which makes the new TimelineX models much more attractive to a wider number of customersRead more

This not only will cover media and light gaming duties, but can actually be used for multiple screen gaming.Read more
Radeon HD 6450 Review
The Guru of 3D posted a review on the Radeon HD 6450
The Radeon HD 6450 addresses the low-level market yet AMD has decided to double the number of stream processors available to the Caicos core over previous products. The Radeon HD 6450 graphics card has a 40nm based GPU and packs a very decent 160 SPs, as well as 8 texturing units, 16 Z/Stencil ROP units and 4 color ROP units. It might make an excellent HTPC card with the full UVD 3 engine onboard as well.Read more

Antec Kuhler H2O 620 Review
OCC has published a review on the Antec Kuhler H2O 620
At first glance, the Antec Kuhler H20 620 looks like many of the other self-contained liquid cooling solutions out on the market. It's when you look closer that it looks like a hybrid solution. The radiator looks to be the same one used in the Asetek 550LC while the pump looks like the one used by the 570LC (the higher capacity pump assembly). One of the key differences between this product and competing products is the use of a more flexible rubber tubing that makes the installation of the Kuhler 620 less of a challenge. As you can see in the following pictures, the tubing easily forms a tight radius without kinking. The length of the tubing is long enough to use in a large chassis. The Kuhler H20 620 consists of three distinct parts, the radiator, the tubing and the pump/coldplate assembly.Read more

AMD Radeon HD 6450 Graphics Card Review
HardwareHeaven.com posted a review on the AMD Radeon HD 6450 Graphics Card
Earlier in the week we took a look at AMD (and Sapphires) new midrange DirectX 11 GPU and commented at the time that the refresh of lower end parts from 5000 to 6000 series was taking some time. The 6790 filled the gap in the 6000 series at around £110 which left the sub £100 mark to populate and today we get a taste of one model that AMD has to offer in that area with a look at the 6450 which will hit retail in a couple of weeks time.Read more

Hardware Canucks posted a review of the new Cooler Master Spawn gaming mouse.
Cooler Master has released a long line of successful peripherals in their Storm-branded gaming range but they have played it safe by going after mass market appeal. The Spawn gaming mouse on the other hand caters to a specific group of gamers who prefer to "claw grip" their mice while retaining the great price structure Cooler Master has been known for.Read more
