iXBT Labs posted a review on the ASRock H55M Pro Motherboard

Today, we're going to review an ASRock H55M Pro motherboard. Consider it a counterpart of the microATX P55M Pro, just based on the H55 chipset. H55M Pro is not the lowest-end solution in its series, but it's still quite affordable. Let's see whether ASRock was successful in balancing out price and features.

Jetway NC84-LF Review
Phoronix posted a review on the Jetway NC84-LF motherboard running under Linux

While Jetway is not one of the most popular brands of motherboards among enthusiasts, they do offer a nice variety of mini ITX motherboards, such as the NC92 IPC and NC96-510-LF motherboards that we have reviewed at Phoronix. Both of these petite motherboards have been built around the Intel Atom processor, but for those looking to find a mini ITX motherboard that can harness a bit more power, there is the Jetway NC84. The Jetway NC84 is what we are testing out today under Linux, which is a mini ITX motherboard that can handle up an AMD Phenom processor, sports an ATI Radeon HD 4200 IGP, and four Serial ATA 2.0 ports capable of RAID 0/1/5/10.

GMC H-80 ATX Mid-Tower Gaming PC Case Review
Legit Reviews posted a review on the GMC H-80 ATX Mid-Tower Gaming PC Case

GMC might have started in this review as being a relatively unknown brand (it's the first of their products we've reviewed here at LR), but to me they've come away with a great first impression. The construction of the case is one of quality, the whole case feels very sturdy, and there was practically no give when I tested the rigidity of the side panels. GMC's slogan is "Design and Innovate" and their H-80 definitely shows a lot of innovative design features. The GMC H-80 is an ATX Mid-Tower case that is solidly built and has plenty of features to make for a great system build...

Sapphire Radeon HD 5970 TOXIC 4GB Video Card Review
TweakTown posted a review on the Sapphire Radeon HD 5970 TOXIC 4GB Video Card

The other day we gave you a little bit of a sneak peek at the latest video card from Sapphire, the HD 5970 TOXIC 4GB. In that article we mentioned that we tend to leave previews to products we've seen at tradeshows or at the manufacturers headquarters. However, due to the limited samples of the HD 5970 TOXIC 4GB and the actual time frame it takes to do a review, we thought that we would just give you a bit of a sneak peek at what looked to be the fastest video card on the market.

Today we'll be giving the HD 5970 TOXIC 4GB from Sapphire the normal review treatment which means a bucket load of pictures and even more benchmarks. The HD 5970 TOXIC 4GB was actually first seen at CEBIT and word got around the interweb that the model was the HD 5990; this of course turned out to be incorrect. It was just a pimped out version of the HD 5970 sporting a heap of RAM.

When it comes to choosing a business laptop some people have iteasy. In larger corporates you get what you are given, and while you might lust after whatever computer the person sitting on next to you on the trainhas, you know that you will have to live with what someone else has chosen for you. If you are in a smaller organisation you may get involved in thedecision making process. If you work for yourself the decision is all yours to make. And if you are a top executive, well, then you might get to make your own decision too. When you are in control of the purse-strings, value for money really matters. So does paying as much as =A32399 for a laptop, even one as thin, well designed and alluring as the Sony VAIO Z, have any kind of appeal at all?

Cooler Master Vortex Plus: A Vortex of Good Cooling
InsideHW.com has reviewed Cooler Master Vortex Plus CPU cooler

Summer approaches, slowly but steadily, and with it an increased interest of PC owners for better cooling for their electronic pets. Regardless of whether a particular user is a fan of overclocking or not, a high-quality CPU cooler is always an interesting topic before hot summer months arrive, and it’s of special significance to provide good, but quiet cooling for a home theatre (HTPC) computer, which, on one hand, mustn’t have an audible noise output, and on the other hand, usually isn’t positioned in a very well-cooled place, so increased heat output is to be expected…

With more and more video content being available on the internet and a lot of newer computers including HDMI ports, it goes without saying these computers will be hooked up to TVs. Corsair 128GB Nova Series SSD Review
OCC has published a review on the Corsair 128GB Nova Series SSD

The read speeds alone of this drive is astonishing. It seems the only handicap the Nova drive has is during the 4K writes where it does bog down a bit, but that is it. During sequential reads, the performance once again screams. The Indilix Barefoot controller and the 64MB cache, combined with the fast MLC flash, the Corsair Nova is one of, if not the best drive tested to date.

Corsair Nova Series 128GB Solid State Drive Review
ThinkComputers.org posted a review on the Corsair Nova Series 128GB Solid State Drive

The Barefoot controller from Indilinx was all the rage last year, it was on many solid state drives we reviewed including the Crucial M225 and both the OCZ Vertex and Agility. It seems this year SandForce is getting a lot of attention, but dont forget about the Barefoot controller. Indilinxs new Barefoot controller, called the Barefoot ECO allows drive manufactures to use the 32nm Intel NAND flash rather than the 40nm NAND we are used to seeing in other Indilinx-based drives. Because of the smaller production process of the NAND chips this brings down the cost of the drive. Today we will be taking a look at the 128GB Nova Series Solid State Drive from Corsair that is based on Barefoot ECO controller and is less expensive than other drives based on the older Barefoot controller.

4-way CPU heatsink roundup
Neoseeker takes a look at CPU coolers from Thermaltake, Coolermaster and Cooink

Breaking in at $60, the more expensive *Coolink Corator DS* and Thermaltake Frio are in direct competion with each other and between these two, I'd pick the former. While the two controllable fans on the Frio are nice, Coolink offers a superior performance to noise ratio and the best in class mounting system seals the deal.

TweakTown posted a review on the EVGA P55 FTW (P55 Express) Motherboard

EVGA is a company that is well known for its more enthusiast based motherboards and GPUs. They are also one of the only remaining NVIDIA-only GPU shops. However, they have moved on to use Intel chipsets in their products (especially considering that NV is in a legal battle with Intel over them).
