Gigabyte GA-EP35-DS3P Motherboard Review
HardwareLogic posted a review on the Gigabyte GA-EP35-DS3P Motherboard

Today we look at their GA-EP35-DS3P motherboard which takes a new road towards energy efficient motherboards. Even with all the extra options available, at its very core it is still a strong P35 based board. With a standard LGA775 socket, compatible processors range from the earlier Pentium4s and Celerons using the 90nm process to the latest 45nm quad core Extreme Edition processors. This board can handle pretty much any LGA775 based processor Intel has or has had on the market in the past few years. Whether you're looking for a strong board with plenty of options or saving a few dollars on your electric bill, this board appears to fit into both columns.

CoolIT Freezone Elite Review
Bjorn3D akes a look at the CoolIT Freezone Elite.

The art of overclocking has led to many advancements throughout the computer industry. From higher quality components used on motherboards to faster RAM capable of keeping up with the CPU, overclocking is at the very heart of advancement. It is because of overclocking that we have after market coolers that can cope with the extra heat output from CPUs which brings me to the point of this article. There are many different methods for removing heat from your CPU which helps to lengthen the processor's life as well as increasing your overclocking headroom. There are high-end air coolers for the enthusiasts, water-cooling for the hardcore crowd and phase-change cooling for the extreme users. Each of these methods have distinct advantages and disadvantages. While water cooling offers lower temps than air cooling it is often an order of magnitude harder to setup and maintain. The same goes for phase-change cooling over water cooling, which brings us to the Freezone Elite from CoolIT systems. The Freezone Elite promises better cooling than water while being as easy to setup as a high-end air cooler. Trying to be all things to all people is always a risky path to take but one that can prove to be extremely lucrative if implemented properly. Does the Freezone Elite have what it takes to earn a spot in your gaming machine or is it just smoke and mirrors? I intend to find out.

HIS Radeon HD3650 IceQ (H365Q512GNP) Review
Overclockers Online has posted a new review on the HIS Radeon HD3650 IceQ (H365Q512GNP)

Throughout the tests, the HIS Radeon HD 3650 performed well. It is not a top-of-the-line card but its performance should be satisfactory for all but the most extreme of gamers. If you don't care for too much eye candy or extremely high resolutions, this mid-range card should fit the bill in terms of value. For its price, it is a great buy. Also, it supports CrossFireX so you can upgrade later if desired.

MSI GX600 Overclockable Laptop Review
Driver Heaven posted a review on the MSI GX600 Overclockable Laptop

MSI have long been known for their motherboards and graphics cards but more recently we have seen them come up with some unique features which set them apart from other manufacturers. Their Stirling engine based Northbridge heatsink (fan that uses heat and pressure to power itself, no electricity from a fan header) is a prime example of some great out of the box thinking.

In addition to this MSI have been enhancing products by adding components such as X-Fi soundcards to their high end motherboard bundles, but the great user focused ideas do not stop there. The recent launch of the GX laptop range gives us a high specification laptop with some excellent features (HDMI) and the ability to
overclock at the touch of a button. Let's find out if it is as good as the marketing makes out.

Thermaltake DuOrb CPU Cooler Review
3D Game Man posted a review on theThermaltake DuOrb CPU Cooler

The Thermaltake DuOrb CPU Cooler is an all around winner. This is not surprising considering the combination of two 80mm fans, many copper and aluminum fins, 6 heatpipes and solid smooth copper base. What really makes this cooler stand out is the unique design. Placing two quiet fans on top really makes sense for CPU cooling, but it also allows cooling to other computer components.

Vizo Propeller System Cooler Review
OCC has published a new review of the Vizo Propeller System Cooler

While increasing the cooling capacity of your computer is a very important thing to do, the Vizo Propeller is not a one size fits all solution. The expansion slot type of cooling fan has been around for quite a while. Is the Vizo Propeller an improvement over the many that have come before it? Well it does the same thing but it blows out instead of bringing in cool air to cool a component. The Propeller does provide a small benefit by increasing air flow through a part of the case that rarely is ventilated properly. At stock loads there is no benefit to the Propeller. Measured with the IR thermometer the outside of the card was slightly warmer with the Propeller than without it.

Zibra Open It! Package Opener Review
OCIA.net has posted their review of the Zibra Open It! Package Opener.

The design of the Open It! is based on diagonal cutters, better known to people not into electronics as wire cutters, wire snippers, or wire clippers. They are 8.5" from the tips of the blades to the end of the longest handle. The handles are made of high impact plastic, the darker edges are a rubberized non-slip material.

Hypersonic AG2 12.1-inch Notebook Review
I4U NEWS reviews the Hypersonic AG2 12.1-inch Notebook.

Today we are checking out an awesome thin-and-light notebook form Hypersonic called the AG2. This little notebook has tons of performance and power tucked into a small, compact design.

The weight for the Hypersonic AG2 of 4.14 pounds makes it very portable and if it was a few ounces lighter it would be a major force in the ultraportable category. Watching a movie on the glossy screen was fantastic. The colors are sharp and vivid and no ghosting or tearing of images was noticed. The same glossy screen can be a drawback in some environments though thanks to lots of glare.

Exactly two years ago we reviewed the analog (VGA) Matrox Triplehead to go. And although a little rough around the edges when it came to graphics card support, times have changed for the better.

In fact last year they released a digital (DVI interface) version of the product and we figured it was about time to check out how this small box of magic has developed, and we where pleasantly surprised I might add.

AMD Athlon 4850e & 780G as HTPC Platform
TweakTown tested AMD Athlon 4850e & 780G as HTPC Platform

AMD has for quite some time provided the most power efficient processors on the market. In fact, the ULV versions of the Athlon 64 X2 processors have been able to draw as little as 45watts, and at speeds of above 2GHz. Now, that’s something even the laptops would love to have running in them, yet they are desktop processors. How’s that for efficiency?

Today we are testing out AMD’s latest addition to its 45watt TDP family with a clock speed of 2.5 GHz; that’s pretty efficient for such a powerful processor with Dual Core functions. Rather than just being a CPU review, today we are looking at the new Athlon 4850e processor as a HTPC component in conjunction with the AMD 780G chipset and Radeon HD 3450 graphics card.
