Microcool Banchetto 101 Case Review
TechwareLabs has a review of the Microcool Banchetto 101 Case

We get a lot of cases from companies like Antec, Silverstone, and NZXT—companies that have been in the business a while. Every so often, though, a company new to the field decides to send something our way. That's the case today, as Microcool has sent us their first attempt at grabbing a foothold in the PC case market, the Banchetto 101. The Google translate-o-bots tell me that Banchetto is Italian for feast or banquet. We'll see soon enough if this case fills the bill, or leaves us hungry.

Patriot Zephyr 128GB JMicron Solid-State Drive Review
Legit Reviews posted a review on the Patriot Zephyr 128GB JMicron Solid-State Drive

Patriot is celebrating their 25th anniversary this year and since their 1985 inception, the California based company has grown to become a global company with a solid reputation for providing quality memory and storage products. They didn't jump into the SSD market full force as some others have, but they have taken a more conservative approach instead. They are adding to their SSD lineup this month, releasing a value line of SSD's carrying the moniker of Zephyr - a name with roots to Greek mythology. The Zephyr line offers capacities of 64GB and 128GB at $184 & $358, respectively, and can only be found at Amazon.com for the first few weeks of availability. There is also a 256GB version but we have not received word on pricing yet. They all carry the newer JMicron JMF612 controller...

A-DATA S599 SSD RAID Report SandForce SF-1200 x2 Review
TweakTown posted a review on the SandForce SF-1200 x2

Out of nowhere the SandForce label went from being associated with a good product that is going to cost an arm and a leg, to a great product that is not only the fastest on the market, but has a reasonable cost, too. When looking at the benchmarks we see that there really isn’t a whole lot of difference between testing with the Microsoft and Intel drivers, but it is enough to surpass Crucial’s C300 in most real world performance categories. Just like the old saying, second place is the first loser; the SF-1200 controlled products were now holding the top honors and something to get excited about.

As enthusiasts we are often compelled to take the best of the best and double them to achieve higher performance. This week through next week we will see two RAID reports, the first being with the A-DATA S599 today and next week using Crucial’s RealSSD C300. Let’s recap the A-DATA S599 specifications and then get right into the testing.

ATI Radeon HD 5870 Overclocked Round-up - Gigabyte, MSI, HIS
HotHardware.com posted an ATI Radeon HD 5870 Overclocked Round-up

Today at HotHardware we're looking at a trio of videocards that have their sights set on the enthusiast market. Factory overclocked Radeon HD 5870 graphics cards from HIS, MSI, and Gigabyte have landed in our lab and its time for another round up. Some might glance over these products and wonder what the big deal is. Any time a new series of graphics cards are launched by ATI or NVIDIA, it is common for add in board (AIB) partners to tweak various features so that consumers have even more attractive options to choose from, beyond the original reference design. The graphics cards we have setup for testing here come with increased GPU and memory speeds, promising improved performance right out of the box. In addition, the heatsinks have been redesigned to provide improved cooling in order to handle the increased frequencies that are set for their graphics engines. Read on to find out how these speed demons perform when compared to one another, and if one of them has what it takes to be your next upgrade...

Thermaltake Luxa2 LM200 Review
techPowerUp posted a review on the Thermaltake Luxa2 LM200

The LM200 is the middle child of Thermaltake's Luxa2 series of high-end HTPC enclosures. While the LM100 Mini offers a compact size along with a PSU and hefty price tag and the LM300 goes all out with space for a full size ATX board, the LM200 can hold a mATX unit and seems to hit the sweet spot on price / performance as well.

Thermalright Ultra 120 eXtreme Rev.C Review
OCC has published a review on the Thermalright Ultra 120 eXtreme Rev.C

The temperatures delivered by the TRUE Revision C as delivered, gave results that matched the original TRUE I have been using in my testing when overclocked. Even with the reduced surface area caused by opening up the fin array, the results are similar. The differential of 1=B0C in the stock testing when comparing the two shows that they are pretty much spot on performance wise. What was kind of surprising was that the TRUE copper gave a slightly better idle temperature when overclocked and the same load temperatures as the Revision C. That makes the TRUE Revision C still one of the top performing heat sinks I have tested, yet the Copper version was a slight let down with temperatures that were almost identical to the Copper/Aluminum models.

Toshiba Satellite L555D-S7930 17.3-inch Notebook Review
TweakTown posted a review on the Toshiba Satellite L555D-S7930 17.3-inch Notebook

Today I am looking at one of the latest notebook offerings from Toshiba. Toshiba has been offering some nice notebooks for a long time now, but it’s one of the smaller of the major computer makers. As one of the smaller firms in the industry, Toshiba tends to aim at the mainstream market with good pricing and decent performance.

That also means you don’t typically see an all out record setter from the firm and the Toshiba Satellite L555D-S7930 I have on my bench today is just such a machine. The notebook is no slouch in performance and it carries a very nice price tag. If you are in the market for an AMD based notebook with a big screen, decent performance and a good price, this notebook is certainly worth a look. Come along with me as I see what makes the Toshiba Satellite L555D-S7930 tick and find out if it's right for you.

Gigabyte HD 5870 Super Overclock Review
Neoseeker takes a look at the Gigabyte HD 5870 Super Overclock

We were impressed all-around what Gigabyte did here though with this HD 5870. The HD 5870 has had its performance brought to a new level with the Super Overclock. Also, the build quality of this video card benefits from quality components used, a good PCB design, and not a bad cooler. If you are looking for the fastest single-GPU video card going, it isn't all the GTX 480 now; you really have two good options to choose from.
