Cooler Master HAF 922 Mid Tower ATX case Review
TechSpot posted a review on the Cooler Master HAF 922 Mid Tower ATX case

Late last year we took a look at what became our most beloved full size ATX case, the Cooler Master HAF 932. This aggressive looking chassis was well built from both an aesthetic and design perspective. With loads of great features on offer, the HAF 932 was made even more impressive by its
affordable price tag.

Then last month Cooler Master announced the arrival of the HAF 922 mid tower case, trying to build on the success of the original full ATX case, now on a more compact version.

The HAF 922 is based on the same High Air Flow (HAF) design, supporting up to 7 large low-RPM fans, tool-less expansion bays and slots, and smart design meant to optimize air flow. But certainly the key changes revolve around the size and weight of the case. The HAF 922 is not a great deal smaller than the HAF 932, though it is about 30% lighter, which should make the HAF 922 a more popular choice among gamers that like to move their computer around regularly.

Zotac IONITX-A NVIDIA Ion-Based Motherboard Review
HotHardware.com posted a review on the Zotac IONITX-A NVIDIA Ion-Based Motherboard

NVIDIA's Ion platform generated quite a buzz when news first broke of the company's plans late last year. As such, we've been keeping on top of Ion-related developments and have posted a number of stories related to Ion, beginning with our coverage of the platform at this year's Consumer Electronics Show. We followed that up with an evaluation of NVIDIA's own Ion reference system, and a few weeks back took a look at the first design win announced for the platform, the Acer Aspire Revo.

Today though, we're going to take a look Zotac's brand new Ion-based motherboard. What makes this product interesting to us is that it's the first one designed for the do-it-yourself crowd looking to assemble their own small form factor systems. The model we're going to feature here is outfitted with a dual core Atom N330 processor, integrated WiFi and HD audio, and of course the NVIDIA Ion platform processor. Zotac's Ion motherboard has a few other tricks up its virtual sleeve as well, but we're not going to give everything away right here. Read on for the full scoop and check out what has the potential to be one of the more sought after mini-ITX platforms released to date...

ATI RADEON HD 4770 (RV740) 512MB Review
iXBT Labs posted a review on the ATI RADEON HD 4770 (RV740) 512MB video card

The card left a very good impression in general. Even if it was sometimes outperformed by competing products, we must admit that HD 4770 is faster than 9800 GT in most cases. This card defeats HD 4850 in those tests, where fillrate plays an important role (HD 4770 offers higher fillrates owing to a very high GPU clock rate).

Sennheiser IE8 Earphones review
Driverheaven posted a review on the Sennheiser IE8 Earphones

Regardless of the budget available or purpose for the earphones Sennheiser have a model available and in our experience even the reasonably priced models offer a fantastic sound when compared to their competitors. Today though, we are right up at the high end of their product catalogue with the IE8. This is the top model in their Professional Portable range and is surprisingly configurable so today we find out if these are useless gimmicks which detract from the sound quality or if the whole package combines to create some of the best headphones ever.

Inno3D iChill GTX275 Review
OCC has published a new review of the Inno3D iChill GTX275

The Inno3D iChill GTX 275 with Arctic Cooling Accelero XXX cooler performed great in testing, and being factory overclocked definitely helped. The temperatures never got close to reaching 50C, and the fan noise was bearable even at 100% as it was nearly drowned out by the case fans. There is more headroom left in the card for overclocking. The great core cooling and quiet operation are superb features of this card, especially combined with the stream processor power of the GTX 28x series cards. The 55nm design of this core paired with the massive Accelero XXX combined for an extremely cool operating temperature while loaded.

Going extreme with the MSI GeForce N260GTX Lightning 1792 MB
The Guru of 3D posted a review on the MSI GeForce N260GTX Lightning 1792 MB video card

MSI has released two new GeForce GTX 260 video cards. The first one being the MSI N260GTX Lightning, and the second one a N260GTX Lightning Black Edition.

These probably are the most feature rich GeForce GTX 260 videocards you can find on the web. First off, MSI N260GTX Lightning has twice the standard GeForce GTX 260 GDDR3 memory summing up to an incredible 1792 MB, and then utilizes a Twin Frozr cooling with heatpipes, dual slot heatsink and two big fans.

The card design is Phase PWM, with 8 phases are reserved for the GPU and 2 phases for the memory. Furthermore, this graphics card has important overclocking features like V-Check points to measure the voltage. We'll test the most exclusive version, with an external overclock panel called the AirForce panel.

With external panel, customized PCB, heatpipe cooler, 1792 MB, HDMI, 216SP and sheer design versus price, it is the most unique GeForce GTX260 in the market today.

Since there are so many options out there on the marketplace, it’s easy to become overwhelmed. When I put out a call to companies for samples, I literally had to say “NO! STOP! NO MORE!”. Clearly this is a category where companies make a ton of money off iPhone users and the competition to get you into one of their cases is fierce. Today, Mophie, Proporta, iLuv, ZAGG, Griffin, Scosche and Otterbox will be competing for those hard earned dollars.

Is it worth upgrading your notebook to an SSD drive?
TweakTown decided to run some tests and see if it would be worthwhile or not upgrading our notebook from a standard notebook hard disk drive to a shiny new SSD

OCZ sent me one of their fancy new Hypersonic notebooks around this time last year and today it is still quite a powerhouse for what I do with it, especially considering its size. People often mistake it for a netbook, but then see how quick she runs with its speedy Intel mobile Core 2 Duo T9300 and 4GB of memory. I usually upgrade notebooks regularly (once a year), but this baby still delivers quite a punch. But what could we do to give it extra boost?
