IE8 is the name of a brand new earphone solution from Sennheiser. The Sennheiser IE8 boast a dynamic driver and an innovative bass adjustment feature that allows the user to tweak the bass response on the move. With a price of $400 they don't come cheap, but for an audiophile who is looking for the best sound quality possible, these might still be a very viable choice.

Asus M4N82 Deluxe SLI AM3 Motherboard Review
Bjorn3D takes a looks at the Asus M4N82 Deluxe SLI AM3 Motherboard.

We've been running our Phenom 2 reviews on an Asus M4A78T-E board and it's a very capable board driving speeds of up to 4 GHz on selected Phenom 2 X4 CPU's. It's not a particularly fancy board so we decided to look at one of the Asus M4N82 Deluxe SLI boards. The board supports AM3 CPU's but uses DDR2 instead of DDR3. The ability to use DDR2 instead of DDR3 makes the M4N82 Deluxe a good option for value minded enthusiasts. Upgrade the Motherboard and CPU but keep that killer kit of DDR2 and save some money.

Asus F70 Review
Driverheaven posted a review on the Asus F70

Asus are in fine form recently and despite the global economic downturn they continue to produce a relentless stream of quality products. While many of you might know them primarily for the award winning motherboards they also have a huge range of personal computers with the focus being on laptops.

Today we'll be taking a look at the Asus F70 laptop, a basic Multimedia machine that slots in at the 750 mark making it a viable option for those who don't want to spend more on a Sony or Apple.

MSI 790GX-G65 reviewed
ITreviewed posted a review on the MSI 790GX-G65

MSI's 790GX-G65 is a solid motherboard that lets you build a fast AM3-based machine using the latest DDR3 memory. The new memory type certainly gives you a slight performance boost over DDR2, but those running a strong DDR-based machine probably won't notice much of a speed boost to justify the cost of a new motherboard and memory. If you are in the market for building a machine from scratch and have decided upon an AMD Phenom II X3 or X4 processor, the 790GX-G65 is an excellent value motherboard that makes stable overclocking a breeze thanks to the EZ OC Switch and bundled software. And as it supports memory overclocked up to 2133MHz, there is plenty of opportunity for your system to grow. There are faster motherboards available, but you'll struggle to match the value of this mid-range product.

Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 3.16GHz 1333MHz FSB Processor Review
PC Stats posted Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 3.16GHz 1333MHz FSB Processor Review

Everyone's wanted to trade up at times. Sure, you can get the 8oz steak for $15, but the 12oz steak is only $17.... Sometimes the choice can be as easy as calculating performance versus price, but other times it's worth to pay more if it will really satisfy your needs. The 3.16GHz Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 CPU is a dual-core chip based on the 45nm 'Wolfdale' core that falls into the upper end of family, supplanted only by the relatively expensive Core 2 Duo E8600.

OCZ 8GB Throttle eSATA/USB Drive Review
Virtual-Hideout posted OCZ 8GB Throttle eSATA/USB Drive Review

You could say it's a simple evolutionary step for thumb drives, but I think it's a welcome one. There is of course the talk of USB 3.0, with speeds up to 400MB/s, however it will be some time before the hardware to use that is available, let alone common. As it stands, every new computer has sata ports, which are easy enough to convert into eSata. There is no denying the speed you can have here and now. Not to mention for $30 (8GB), it's only about $8 more than a regular 8GB usb drive, that for 3X the performance. If you don't mind carrying a USB cable (that is used for practically all external 2.5" drives as well), you aren't going to be able to find anything faster in this size, or price range.

OCZ Throttle eSATA Flash Drive Review
Viper Lair posted a review on the OCZ Throttle eSATA Flash Drive

Even the fastest USB drives can't hold a candle to eSATA. Today we'll be looking at OCZ's entry into the eSATA flash drive market. Will the Throttle fly, or will it stall at the gates?

Clearly, the OCZ Throttle eSATA Flash Drive is a speed demon. In USB mode, the drive performed on par with the OCZ Rally 2 Turbo, making it amongst the faster USB based drives we've tested. In eSATA mode, it just leaves everyone behind. In the small file tests, the Throttle was almost 100% faster than it's closest competitor.

Super Talent UltraDrive ME 120GB MLC SSD FTM28GX25H Review
Benchmark Reviews posted a review on the Super Talent UltraDrive ME 120GB MLC SSD FTM28GX25H

Performance enthusiasts have been keeping notes on SSD technology for a while now, and until recently the price and performance of Solid State Drives were not within reach for casual consumers. SSD products are quickly moving mainstream, and former marketing points like power consumption is now the least impressive of all benefits a Solid State Drive delivers. The real payoff is in the practically instant response time and high-performance throughput. Capacity and stuttering were once the only problems keeping SSDs from replacing HDDs, but now it's just capacity. Quick to solve that problem, Super Talent now offers their 512GB MasterDrive RX SSD which provides capacity matched to performance.

The Super Talent UltraDrive ME adds 64MB of Elpida DRAM to the buffer has permanently solved stuttering problems, making raw performance the last bottleneck. An Indilinx 'Barefoot' internal controller commands the bank of Samsung K9HCG08U1M DRAM modules, allowing the UltraDrive ME SSD to offer an impressive capacity with top-speed performance. Benchmark Reviews tests the reaction time and bandwidth performance for the FTM28GX25H 120GB model against over two dozen other products in this article.
