ATI Catalyst 10.4 Driver Performance Review
Vortez.co.uk takes a look at the performance of the ATI Catalyst 10.4 Driver
There's a common belief amongst early adopters of new hardware, especially graphics cards, that performance will improve over time thanks to continuous driver updates. It's certainly a belief that manufacturers have tried to uphold themselves by constantly claiming performance improvements in their latest drivers. In many cases, their claims are correct since SLI and CrossfireX technologies are heavily reliant on software implementations and drivers undergo optimisations to take full potential of the hardware. Even with single card configurations, both Nvidia and ATI often claim major boosts of more than 10%, which is a figure that can often differentiate two separate cards (GTX295 vs HD5870). If those numbers are correct, it could essentially mean that relative performance differences between cards will vary over time and this has some interesting implications.ATI Catalyst 10.4 Driver Performance Review

But now finally AMD's new core is amongst us. AMD released 2 brand new CPUs: the 6 core 1055T model running at 2.8Ghz and the flagship the 1090T version at 3.2Ghz with unlocked multiplier. Antec CP-1000 Power Supply Review
HardwareLook.com posted a review on the Antec CP-1000 Power Supply
Within the PSU market, Antec would seem to be one of the most willing to push the boundaries and raise standards; and perhaps the ultimate move came in the form of the company's very own form factor - CPX.Antec CP-1000 Power Supply Review
Bearing in mind Antec's very impressive ATX form factor power supplies(Signature and TruePower series perhaps the most recognised throughout the computing community), it may seem a strange concept to move away from the traditional ATX power supply. The technology behind the idea though makes perfect sense...
The larger casing and externally mounted fan allow for a more spacious interior combined with a larger fan to provide greater airflow at lower speeds.
The unit we're focusing on in this review is the CP-1000 - the second member of the CPX series following on from the flagship CP-850 and now we've unearthed the thinking behind CPX, let's take a closer look...

HTC HD Mini Review
Business Computing World published a review of the HTC HD Mini
As a component of an enterprise IT structure, HTC's HD mini should slot in easily with the suite of existing devices. Its small size may appeal to those who don't like the idea of carrying a large smartphone. However, the trade-off of a small screen needs to be considered carefully. Stubby fingers and poor eyesight are two reasons it may not be practical. And with Windows Phone 7 due to launch before the end of the year, businesses may consider it prudent to wait and see what that has to offer.HTC HD Mini Review
Ozone Gaming Oxid Headset Review
OCIA.net has posted their review of the Ozone Gaming Oxid Headset
Less than two months ago I had the opportunity to check out the Strato 5.1 Surround Sound Headphones from Ozone Gaming. If you happened to read that review, you already know that the Strato performed pretty well in every aspect except perhaps the most important: comfort. The Strato headphones use on-ear ear cups which put pressure on the pinna (outer ear) that causes discomfort even after moderate use. After our review, Ozone agreed to send over a different gaming headset for evaluation, the Ozone Oxid. The Oxid are a bit different than the Strato in multiple categories but perhaps the most important is the ear cup design as these use over-the-ear cups. If the Oxid is indeed more comfortable than the Strato and scores high in some of the same areas the Strato did, this could prove to be a quality headset. Read on as we put them to the test.Ozone Gaming Oxid Headset Review

HP Pavilion All-in-One 200-5020 Desktop PC Review
TestFreaks posted a review on the HP Pavilion All-in-One 200-5020 Desktop PC
Today for review I have a first, at least for me, it's a desktop PC yes, but it's an all-in-one style meaning that there's no 'tower' section like a regular computer might have, the kind most of us are accustomed to. An all-in-one PC is a fairly new style of PC meant to save space and actually save you some money too. This type of PC has everything built-into the monitor itself, and then you have your keyboard and mouse and that's it. The PC I have today is from HP and it's the new Pavilion All-In-One 200-5020 that features the Intel E5400 Dual Core Processor, along with 4 gigs of ram, a 500 gig hard drive that's all basically encased inside of a 21.5" HD 1080P LCD monitor. Yes it's not exactly a high spec machine, but it's not meant to be, it's meant to be a moderately priced PC with a good set of features, and it is.HP Pavilion All-in-One 200-5020 Desktop PC Review

Overall, I am definitely pleased with what Antec has supplied with the Sonata Proto. It is sturdy, clean looking, performs well and is quiet for sure. Antec is a company I usually dont associate with cooling products, when I think of Antec I think of quality cases and power supplies. This year at CES Antec showed us a lot of new cases, but they were very excited about a new notebook cooler that they had developed. The Notebook Cooler Designer is a notebook cooler made for laptops up to 15-inches and features a 110mm fan that blows at a quiet 800RPM. The notebook cooler also has a very stylish design hence the name designer. Lets take a look and see if the Notebook Cooler Designer is perfect for your laptop.Antec Notebook Cooler Designer Review
Galaxy GeForce GTX 470 GC Overclocking Review
TweakTown overclocked the Galaxy GeForce GTX 470 GC
We don't intend to make a habit out of overclocking loads of cards. Recently, though, we've offered overclocking articles alongside the standalone reviews that we normally offer. We have two reasons for doing this. The first is that we're seeing a lot of new models and a lot of new series’ from companies. The focus has also shifted heavily to overclocking on the models and people love to get more performance out of a product without having to spend any more.Galaxy GeForce GTX 470 GC Overclocking Review
The second is that we're seeing many companies offer software that allows us to increase the voltages on cards. This ability can really give the card a significant amount of breathing room when it comes to overclocking and we're ultimately seeing some of the biggest gains to date on the stock coolers.

Today we'll have a look at an offering from Gigabyte, namely the 890GPA-UD3H. The motherboard is positioning itself in a somewhat more niche category with great better looks, better features and better quality components. What we are looking at is a sub 125 USD / 115 EUR product that offers more than a reference based product, yet a little less than the uber high-end gear out there.

While SSDs are still a fairly new technology, it has certainly come a long way in the last couple of years. The choices in SSDs are increasing and the prices are also decreasing making it possible to own one without a second mortgage. Though SSDs are getting cheaper, they still aren't cheap, with larger ones still hitting some heavy figures. But even a smaller drive can make your system faster and INTEL has responded with the introduction of their 40GB Value Performance X25-V SATA Solid-State Drive (SSD).Intel X25-V 40GB Value Performance SATA Solid-State Drive Review
