Addlogix Lan-Guard LG-2000 All-in-One Internet Security Gateway
TestFreaks posted a review on the Addlogix Lan-Guard LG-2000 All-in-One Internet Security Gateway

Today for review I’ve got a product that will allow you to quickly and easily add another line of defense to your network against attacks, it’s called the Lan-Guard and it’s from Addlogix. It’s a small box with two ethernet ports on it, one for input and one for output that goes between your modem and router, once installed it protects your network from web based attacks, viruses, spyware and most any other type of attack. The price of the Lan-Guard also includes three years of updates for definition and firmware updates etc. It’s very simple to install for the most part. it will work on any network, but you might need to make some adjustments. in my time with it I found it seems to work, but I ran into an issue or two with it.. so Read on..

NZXT Tempest Evo Gaming Case Review
OCModShop posted a review on the NZXT Tempest Evo Case

ll never get tired of reviewing cases. Sure, I dont get to do the kind of extensive testing thats reserved for internal hardware, but thers something about a gaming case that grabs my attention and doesnt let go. Ive been known to procrastinate when it comes to work. Unless I open my door to a friendly Fed-Ex man with a large box that says NZXT on the side. Then Im on that like a fat kid on a box of Twinkies. So I jumped like a mentally retarded school girl watching the previews for the new Twilight movie when I was offered the NZXT Tempest Evo gaming case to review.

Mushkin Joule 1000W Power Supply Review
OCC has published a review on the Mushkin Joule 1000W Power Supply

Power supply technology is constantly evolving and I don't think it's too much to expect the current crop of high-end power supplies to maintain 80% efficiency across the board. The Mushkin Enhanced Joule 1000W produced satisfactory results until fully loaded, at which point, the efficiency dipped to 77%. It's not really a problem and in no way affects the ability to reliably power a PC, but it does mean a few extra dollars on the electricity bill at the end of the year.

Corsair F100 Force SSD review (SF1200)
The Guru of 3D posted Corsair F100 Force SSD review (SF1200)

Thus far we have tested a handful of SandForce based products, and though the first series with the initial SF-1500 controller did bite us a little in the toosh, the SF-1200 controller based products where showing really interesting gains in performance.

The SandForce based products by all means are not little wonders and miracles in each and every segment, but on some levels they make a distinct difference oppose to JMicron and Indilinx products. So today the turn goes to Corsair. To fall into clichés, will the Force be strong with this one ? We'll check it all out in a nice review on Corsair's Force F100 SSD.

AMD Athlon-II X2-260 Regor Processor Review
Benchmark Reviews posted a review on the AMD Athlon-II X2-260 Regor Processor

In early May 2010, AMD released a new series of processors that fills in some of the gaps in their Athlon-II and Phenom-II Dual, Triple, and Quad-Core Lines. Most of the newly released processors are really just 100MHz clock speed bumps on the old versions. In this article Benchmark Reviews focuses on the newly released AMD Athlon-II X2-260 Regor AM3 ADX260OCK23GQ processor. Based on the Regor core, the Athlon-II X2-260 has a 3.2GHz clock speed, up 100MHz from the Athlon-II X2-255 at 3.1Ghz which was released in January 2010. The Athlon-II X2-260 is at the very low end of the newly released processors and represents a value based market at only $76. Samsung SyncMaster 2494HM DVI / HDMI 24-in LCD Monitor Review
OCIA.net has posted their review of the Samsung SyncMaster 2494HM DVI / HDMI 24-in LCD Monitor

If you are frugal like myself, spending money on anything that isn't a necessity to life can be a task. One way I have recently discovered to offset this ouch moment is to buy used products, also known as refurbished or re-certified in the tech industry. Millions of people buy and sell used goods on sites like eBay and Craigslist every day. Why take the hefty financial hit on something that is going to drop in value rather quickly when you can pick up a slightly used model and save a substantial amount of money? Often times these refurbished or re-certified items might just be missing a manual or a cable and never made it out of the factory and thus, are still new. Furthermore, depending on where you buy a refurbished item from, a warranty may still accompany the item as is the case with today's display we have for review, the Samsung SyncMaster 2494HM DVI / HDMI 24" LCD Monitor.
