When I was in my first year of university and living in residence, there was a buddy of mine whose laptop was always overheating and shutting down. He had to resort to raising it off the table using four decks of playing cards and pointing a fan at the gap. This cooler would've been perfect for him.Titan TTC-G4TZ Aluminum Notebook Cooler Review

When it comes to motherboards, the mATX format is not something that most people are just biting at the bit to get their hands on. While it has its place, it certainly is not mainstream. Even though that is true, it has not stopped ASRock from putting a lot of time into developing these tiny motherboards. They are perfect for HTPCs because of size. They are also great for putting together a budget system because...ASRock Conroe 1333-DVI/H Motherboard Review

The minimum amount of memory you should be running a computer with is 2GB RAM, even if you're only running Microsoft WindowsXP. If it's Microsoft Windows Vista, even more memory may be required! I've noticed that extra memory helps when I play my favorite game titles, and particularly so if you like to play with all the eye candy maxed out. More memory is a must!Patriot PDC22G9200ELK PC2-9200 2GB DDR2-1150 Memory Review

3D Game Man posted a review on the NZXT Hush Case
The NZXT Hush Case is a great overall product and it's affordable. When NZXT built this case from the ground up they had a couple of things in mind. The first was to build a quiet case and also a case that provides excellent air circulation. With sound dampening material inside the case on the side panels, bottom, top and front, it's quiet. They include two 120mm fans which provide great air circulation. There are lots of drives bays and it has a stylish appearance. If you really think about it, a gaming mousepad is the thing that sets the really serious gamer apart from the others. You build or buy this really powerful system, complete with a powerful gaming video card.or two.or four, a rather pricey 7.1 sound card, then you invest in surround sound speakers or upper end headphones, get a gaming keyboard, and buy a really nice high DPI gaming mouse. And then drag the mouse over one of those 4 buck WalMart mousepads with the water droplets on it, or over the bare desktop.BestFeel VisRa PS, VisLa PS, and VisFa Gaming Mousepads Review
APH Networks posted a review on the OCZ Reaper HPC PC2-8500 2x1GB DDR2 RAM memory
Micron has made quite a name with their D9 chips in the overclocking community -- and OCZ's name is quite strong in the memory market as well. However, a big name combination does not necessarily mean big price with recent DDR2 price drops. Complete with Micron D9 ICs, the OCZ Reaper HPC PC2-8500 2x1GB dual channel kit will take voltages up to 2.35V and still remain under warranty. Heat is not an issue, thanks to its full circuit copper heatpipes. For this reason, we expect a load of unspecified performance right off the bat. How well does these RAM step up? Let's have a close look at these memory modules today and, we'll take it from our benchmarks as well as the overclocking results.OCZ Reaper HPC PC2-8500 2x1GB DDR2 RAM Review
Neoseeker has published a review of the Asus Striker Extreme 680i board.
The Striker Extreme has an integrated LCD display above the back I/O panel of the board. Check out that LCD POST display. It's backlit, and can register the POST sequence when booting, very handy. But it can also programed (through the BIOS) with a user defined string of characters (uppercase letters and numbers only, no puncuations or symbols allowed). It would be nice if it scrolled some userr defined text, but it doesn't. Perhaps ASUS can unlock some of its more advanced feaures with a BIOS update or two. Hint, hint ASUS!Asus Striker Extreme Review

The S9 Active Headphones, by their very name, suggest they are built for a person who is physically active and only wants to carry one device. They are made from a rigid plastic that makes them water and sweat resistant. Readers who have a mobile phone that can store music and supports the Bluetooth Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP) and Audio Video Remote Control Profile (AVRCP) should consider the S9 headphones.Motorola S9 Bluetooth Active Headphones Review
Viper Lair posted HIPER HIPERFLOW 80 and 120mm Fans Review
All three fans seen here today feel like quality, are solid, and have an extremely pleasing look to them. I have to say that the chrome bladed 120mm is without a doubt my favourite, but they are all good looking items. They all perform well enough but of course the silence of the fans in operation is more than just clever engineering; the slow running and therefore low output of the fans has to be taken into account here. Still, the CFM output despite the low noise and low fan speeds is quite high and certainly high enough for the majority of applications.HIPER HIPERFLOW 80 and 120mm Fans Review

Bjorn3D posted a review on the XFX 650i Ultra Motherboard
This board has a lot going for it and during my testing the board remained rock solid and offered such a great level of performance I would almost feel guilty for paying such a small price for such a great product. The board does have a couple of issues though none of them were deal breakers for me. As long as you take your time and plan ahead while assembling your rig you should have no problems with this motherboard. Overclocking was stellar, the board remained stable and gaming at 3.5 GHz was a real pleasure. This is a great board offered at a great price. Value has a new meaning.XFX 650i Ultra Motherboard Review

The Guru of 3D posted a review on the Albatron nForce 680i SLI Motherboard
Albatron recently jumped the NVIDIA mainboard 600 series segment. They now offer NVIDIA mainboards from the popular 600 series including the 650i Ultra, 680i LT SLI and the board we'll review today, the 680i SLI. It's simple, if you want to overclock your PC, chances are large that you at the very least are opting for a 680i mainboard with Core 2 Duo processor and some good memory.Albatron nForce 680i SLI Motherboard Review
Here at Guru3D we started using this mainboard series pretty much the minute we received it, which was early November 2006 and ever since it has become the #1 mainboard for testing graphics cards. Intensely stable, hefty tweaking features and massive performance - these are the three things I immediately think about when we talk about the 680i mainboards. Obviously, it's the sum of all things. You have to have the high-end processor, PSU, graphics card and memory yet with these three ingredients you can achieve rather spectacular miracles.

On the other hand, they are slower than today's hard drives for writing sequential clusters of information, a process known as sequential writes. How hard drives work
Bjorn3D takes a look at the Arctic Cooling Accelero S2 GPU Cooler
In the past, many manufactures would release graphic cards with modified heat sink and fans from reference designs to provide better cooling and to enhance overclocking. However, lately, many manufactures simply sell reference design cards from either AMD/ATI or NVIDIA without any modification except putting their own labels on the card. Therefore, for users who seek to have quieter graphic cards or cooler cards would have to resort to the heat sinks and fans from third party manufactures. Luckily there are no shortages of manufactures that produce well-designed products. Today, we will take a look at one of these products from Arctic Cooling, the Accelero S2, a merely $22 graphic card cooler that promises to reduce operating temperature and overall system noise.Arctic Cooling Accelero S2 GPU Cooler Review

Say you have a nasty application on your Apache webserver that has been installed by some people from the marketing department and you can neither remove nor patch it. Maybe it is a time problem, a lack of know-how, a lack of source-code, or possibly even political reasons. Consequently you need to protect it without touching it. There is ModSecurity, but they say this is only for experts. A straightforward alternative is Remo, a graphical rule editor for ModSecurity that comes with a whitelist approach. It has all you need to lock down the application.Introducing Remo - An Easy Way to Secure an Insecure Online Application with Modsecurity
